Adam Levine is an American singer-songwriter and popularly known as the lead singer and guitarist of the band Maroon 5. He was born on March 18, 1979 in Los Angeles. His parents were Patsy Noah and Fred Levine. He had two siblings namely Michael and Julia Milne. Levine has Jewish ancestors from both sides of his parents. He graduated in Brentwood School in year 1997. Levine was diagnosed of having Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. In 2006, an accident had happened to the front man of Maroon 5 when he accidentally broke his sternum while lifting weights. His band Maroon 5 was formerly known as Kara’s Flowers. Their inspirations were groups like Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

Levine’s former girlfriend named Jane became his inspiration in one of his album entitled “Songs about Jane” He revealed that the girl did not contacted him despite of the success of the album. In September 2010 interview, Levine told Howard Stern in his show that he had been dating Victoria’s Secret model and Russian Sports swimsuit model Anne Vyalitsyna.

They released their first album when they were high school seniors in 1997 entitled “The Fourth World”. The album was not successful; however, they still got the chance to appear in one of the episodes of American drama series Beverly Hills 90210. Because of the failure of the album, Levine and his band mates decided to part ways. Levine and his best friend Jesse Carmichael tried their luck in New York. They were able to discover various genres in the music industry.

In year 2001, Levine and Carmichael reunited with his band mates Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick. They added James Valentine in the band by year 2001. They compiled their different musical influences and come up in the album “Songs about Jane”. Levine gets his inspiration from his ex-girlfriend named Jane. The album released various hit singles like “This Love”, “She Will Be Loved”, ”Harder to Breathe”, and “Sunday Morning”. The video of the song “This Love” got a little controversy because Levine and his current girlfriend that time engaged in replicated sex. However, the tracks in the album still managed to hit the charts.

In 2005, the band won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. They released their second album which was entitled “It Won’t Be Soon before Long” which was released in year 2007. Hit singles include “Makes me Wonder”, “Won’t go home without you”, and “Wake up Call”.

Levine has been collaborating to several artists like Alicia Keys, Natasha Bedingfield and Kanye West. He also had several television appearances in “Iran so Far” as well as in “Night of Too Many Stars”.

Aside from his singing career, Levine has also been doing various activities outside music industry. He posed naked in Cosmopolitan UK’s February 2011 issue for testicular cancer awareness.

On April 26, 2011, the American Reality talent show “The Voice” was premiered wherein Levine is one of the coach and judge on the show. Other judges were Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton. Early of November 2011, Levine said in CNN that their show is not competing with other reality shows such as American Idol and The X Factor. He clearly explained that the other reality shows have their own thing and they are doing their best to make their show standout.

The November issue of Russian Vogue magazine features Maroon 5′s frontman Adam Levine and his Victoria Secret model girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna on the cover.  The sizzling hot couple bares it all for the fashion magazine, posing naked and intimately together.  Levine and the Victoria’s Secret model have been dating since 2010.  In the cover of the magazine, Anne was seen hugging her boyfriend and barely covering her chest with her arm. The photo also showcase the huge collection of tattoos in the naked body of the singer.  Anne Vyalitsyna tweeted of the shoot that she is finally able to share this and thanked his boyfriend for being such a great sport and sexy man.

Back in January, Adam made waves when he posed in the buff for British GQ, with only a pair of lady’s hands covering his man bits.  The 31-year-old singer doffed his clothes to encourage men to check for signs and symptoms of prostate and testicular cancer.  The couple seems very much in love and in one of the photo Adam allowed the people to see his indelible love with the model by having her name tattooed on his knuckles.

Adam revealed earlier this week that Maroon 5 would be performing at the hotly anticipated Victoria’s Secret Fashion show this holiday season together with Kanye West.  The singer talked about the upcoming show saying that if only the dorky pre-pubescent teenaged him could have told the future Adam that he would someday play the Victoria Secret fashion show and later saying that he is still dorky.

The Voice judge, Adam Levine is also currently in a feud against Fox News anchors when he directed his words on the program as he hears his music playing on the conservative channel.  Levine tweeted directing to Fox News not to play his (Maroon 5) music on their evil f*cking channel ever again and said thank you afterwards.  There was no response yet from the news channel; however, the anchors Andy Levy and Greg Gutfeld made their own statements on their own twitter pages.

Andy wrote, Dear @AdamLevine, don’t make crappy f*cking music ever again. Thank you.  While Greg wrote that Adam’s songs are not music and even cracked that the reason that Maroon 5 cross the road is because crappy music is legal there.  He also added that the plastic bag he saw blowing in the wind is better than Adam’s music and he is pretty sure that it is not the most beautiful thing he ever seen.  It is still unclear what exactly happened to spark Adam’s Tweet, but it looks like the problem will not be solved peacefully.  For a recall, the involved parties has all been into the same situation, Adam Levine rudely tweeting against the VMA’s and news anchor Andy Levi against the singer Chris Brown when he said that Chris Brown spelled punching wrong adding that there will be no more planking for him unless it is on a sexy lady.  The singer replied that children conduct themselves better hoping him much love and success.
