Ali Larter is an American actress, who is most notable for the portrayal of on the BBC drama series called, Heroes. She was born on February 28, 1976 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, to Margaret and Danforth Larter, a realtor and a trucking executive. In addition, Larter entered the Carusi Middle School as well as the Cherry Hill High School West, where she graduated when she was still a model. Both of her mother and father then relocated to Allentown, Pennsylvania. At the young age of 14, Larter started her modeling career. On the other hand, Larter was noticed by a modeling agent on the street, she subsequently asked to appear in a Phillies Commercial and as a result, She signed a deal together with the renowned Ford Modeling Agency in New York.
In year 1997, Larter made her first acting role, appearing in lots of TV programs. Also, Larter appeared in one of the episodes of the Brooke Shields series entitled, Suddenly Susan and the series show of the Chicago Sons. Her portrayal on the said programs led her o appear on the TV series of Dawson’s Creek and the Chicago Hope as well as Just Shoot Me. In year 1999, Larter debuted on the film entitled, Varsity Blues, where she portrayed the role of Darcy Sears. On the same year, she appeared on the comedy show of Giving It Up as well in Drive Me Crazy. Larter has also portrayed the role of Sara Wolfe/ Jennifer Jenzen on the 1999 horror film entitled, House on Haunted Hill.
On the following year, Larter portrayed the role of Clear Rivers, one of the lead roles in the horror film of Final Destination, which also includes the stars of Devon Sawa and Kerr Smith. In year 2001, she appeared in the comedy film of Legally Blonde, which starred Reese Witherspoon. In the film, Larter portrayed the role of Brooke Taylor Windham. She subsequently appeared in the comedy called, American Outlaws, where she portrayed the role of Zerelda Mimms. The film also includes the stars of Colin Farrell and Scott Caan. She then appeared together with Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith as well as Shannon Elizabeth in the action comedy film called, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
In year 2002, Larter relocated from Los Angeles to New York. She then reprised her role as Clear Rivers in the sequel film of Final Destination entitled, Final Destination 2. In year 2005, she appeared in the independent film called, Confess. He also starred together with Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher in the romantic comedy film of A Lot Like Love. In year 2009, she starred together with Beyonce Knowles and Idris Elba in the thriller film entitled, Obsessed. She then reprised her role in the film of Resident Evil: Afterlife. Larter has recently appeared in a short film called, Lemon Drop. On the other hand, Larter is currently in talks to reprise the role of Claire Redfield in the upcoming film of resident Evil: Retribution.
