Angie Harmon is an American actress and fashion model, who earned much prominence for her portrayal in Baywatch nights and in the TV series of Law & Order. She was born on August 19, 1972 in Highland Park, Texas, to Daphne Demar and Lawrence Paul “Larry” Harmon, who is a hospital information executive in Dallas. Harmon’s father has the English and Cherokee Native American ancestries while her mother Is of Greek descent. In ear 1970s, her mother and father were models and they divorced in year 1982 and her father them married again. On the other hand, in year 1988, Harmon became a child model. In addition, Harmon entered the Highland Park High School, where she became one of the members of the Highland Belles. She earned a Spectrum Model Search contest, pursuing a successful modeling career and turned to be a renowned personality in year 1990s.

On the other hand, in year 1995, Harmon started her professional acting career, after David Hasselhoff noticed her in a plane. She subsequently appeared in numbers of TV series, which also includes the TV series of Baywatch Nights and Baywatch. In year 1998, Harmon had a role in the 1998 film of Lawn Dogs She then turned to be a well-known actress, when she joined the ensemble of the long running series of NBC entitled, Law & Order, portraying the role of ADA Abbie Carmichael from the year 1998 until the year 2001.  She also voiced for the role of Barbara Gordon in the animated film called, Batman Beyond: Return of the joker. Moreover, Harmon left the series of Law & Order to give her full time on her film career. In year 2001, Harmon appeared in the film of Good Advice. She subsequently earned a spot in the 2003 action film entitled, Agent Cody Banks, where she portrayed the role of Ronica Miles. The film also includes the stars of Hillary Duff and Frankie Muniz.

In year 2006, Harmon starred together with Cuba Gooding Jr. and James Woods in the action thriller film called, End Game, where she portrayed the role of Kate Crawford. On the same year, she portrayed the lead role in the ABC pilot called, Secrets of a Small Town, which did not turned into a series. Also, Harmon starred in the NBC TV show of inconceivable, which was pulled out of air after its second season. On the following year, she starred in another ABC pilot called, Women’s Murder Club.  In year 2010, she presented the Infomercial for the “Upliv”, which is said to be a stress management program. She was also featured in one of the informercial of Olay “pro-X” wrinkle cream. In year 2010, she starred together with Sasha Alexander in the crime-drama series of Rizzoli & Isles, where she portrayed the role of Jane Rizzoli.
