Anna Kendrick is an American actress who was born on August 9, 1985. She is most notable for the portrayal of the role of Natalie keener in the film of Up in the Air in year 2009. She has also appeared in films such as Camp in year 2003, Rocket Science in year 2007 and the 2010 film of The Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Kendrick was also included in the casts of the broadway musical called, High Society in year 1998. She also appeared in The Twilight Saga films, where she portrayed the role of Jessica Stanley.

At the very young age of ten, Anna Kendrick showed passion on actiong comes to acting. It was said that her parents let her and her brother catch a ride from Portlans, Maine, to New York City, for her to attend the auditions. When she was 12 years old, Kendrick first acting role was in the broadway musical play called, High Society in August 1998, where she portrayed the role of Dinah. Her acting performance on said musical garnered her the several nominations such as, TheaterWorld Award, Drama Desk Award and Tony Award. It was said that he was the youngest to get a Tony award nomination.

Anna Kendrick continued to appear in some other theater productions, which also includes her performance in the musical play of A Little Night Music, prior to her appearance in the 2003 musical comedy called Camp, in which she earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 2004 Chlotrudis Awards as well as the Best Debut Performance Independent Sirit Award for her portrayal as Fritzi Wagner.

In year 2007, Kendrick was included in the casts of the film entitled, Rocket Science, where she portrayed the role of Ginny Ryerson, a high school student who was described as the fast talking debater. Kendrick considered her role on the said film as daunting and very challenging after watching the real national collegiate championship debate. It was said that her performances garnered positive reviews from the critics. She has also earned nomination for the category of Best Supporting Actress in the 2007 Independent Spirit Award.

On the same year, Kendrick auditioned for the role of Jessica Stanley in the series film of Twilight, an adaptation film from the initial book of the series, who penned by Stephenie Meyer. Luckily Kendrick earned the role and was included on the sequel film of Twilight Saga: New Moon and Twilight Saga: Eclipse. On the other hand, Kendrick appeared in the 2009 film of Elsewhere, where she portrayed the lead role. She appeared in the romantic-comedy film of 50/50 together with Joseph Gordon levitt and Bryce Dallas Howard as well as Seth Rogen. In year 2011, Anna Kendrick reprised her role as Jessica Stanley in the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Kendrick was also rumored to star in the upcoming film of Archivist, where she will be joining by the star of John Francis Daley. She will also voice a character in the animated feature of ParaNorman.
