The punk rock singer got into a bar fight along with her boyfriend, Brody Jenner at Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel this weekend with Jenner ending up bloodied as a result. According to TMZ, the Canadian-born singer was the one who originally got into the altercation. She and an unknown woman were apparently fighting when Jenner attempted to intervene and was cracked with a bottle for it.
Photos from Saturday night show Brody standing outside the club with blood running down his face while trying to make a phone call. After Jenner failed, hotel security squashed the situation, and attempted to restrain all the parties involved until authorities arrived. No arrests were made by police but Jenner was listed as a victim of assault with a deadly weapon and he was the only one involved who spoke to police.
Instead of taking the ambulance, Jenner decided to go to the hospital by himself for medical attention. According to sources, he has already been released, although the “Bromance” celebrity needed several stitches to close the bleeding gash in his head. Afterwards, Jenner turn into his Twitter page and said that he had an interesting Saturday night and just got of the hospital with a new scar on his face noting charges/chargers. Before the incident, Brody even shared how happy they were. He said on his tweet that he was having the best night with the love of his life, Avril Lavigne and he was so happy during that time.
Avril also tweeted in her defense saying that she does not fight and she does ot believe in it. According to her, she was attacked by 5 people that night out of nowhere noting that it is not cool since her face was f*cked. When Avril tweeted that her face was f*cked, it included a black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. She also said that it is so not ok to be abusive to others and violence is never the answer.
As for Lavigne, sources said she left the scene before police arrived. The unknown woman allegedly left as well. This could have been to avoid queries by the police, especially for Lavigne, who has been known for her brash actions in the past. The 27-year-old soloist purportedly called Lindsay Lohan “fake” and “a loser” at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, leading to a screaming match between the two celebrities in May of last year. She also blew up during her performance at a Tampa Rays baseball game in May of this year, yelling obscenities into the mic after it malfunctioned. It is unclear if Avril’s hotheadedness started the fight this during that time, or if she was simply a victim of circumstance.
The day after the incident while Avril was mending, she tweeted that her former guitarist, Evan Taubenfeld had come to cheer her up and bring her an ice pack. She thanked Evan for coming over to visit her that day and bringing her a hello kitty ice pack noting that she is so lucky to have a friend like him.
