The 65-year-old English actress was born on February 5, 1946 in Sturmer, Essex, to Isabel Anne and Godfrey Rampling, a painter and an Olympic medalist as well as army officer. Rampling, who was born with the real name of Tessa Charlotte Rampling, entered the Jeanne d’ Arc Académie pour Jeunes Files in Versailles as well as the Hilda’s School, which is a boarding school in the Bushey, Hertfordshire, England. At the young age of 17, Rampling started in a commercial role and as a model. In year 1982, Rampling portrayed the role of Laura Fischer in the drama film of The Verdict, which also includes the star of Paul Newman.
At the age of 59, she appeared in the film of Laurent Cantet entitled, Heading South, which is a 2005 film about the sexual tourism, where she portrayed the role of Ellen. She then continued to appear in sexual provocative films like the film of Swimming Pool and the Basic Instinct 2. Rampling recently portrayed the role of the mother of Keira Knightley’s role, Countess Spencer, in the British drama film of The Dutchess, which also includes the stars of Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes as well as Hayley Atwell. In year 2002, Ramplong recorded an album called, Comme Une Femme, which was both in French and in English.
In year 2010, she just finished on filming the upcoming terrorist thriller film of the Cleanskin, which also starred Sean Bean and James Fox as well as Tuppence Middleton and Michelle Ryan as well as Albhin Galeya.
