The American actress who is most notable on her portrayal in films of Kick- Ass in year 2010, was born on February 10, 1997 in Atlanta Georgia U.S to McCoy and Teri, who was a plastic surgeon and nurse practitioner. Moretz has four brother named, Brandon and Trevor as well as Colin and Ethan. She also considered her family as very Christian. Her brother, Trevor Duke Moretz, was said to be her mentor when it come on acting and the one who always assists her on her trips as well as on her press dates whenever their parents unable to attend.
In year 2001, the 14-year-old actress, moved from Georgia to New York together with her mother and her brother Trevor. Before she began filming the said film, she was trained by Jackie Chan’s stun crew for almost three months. Also, in year 2010, she portrayed the role of the 12-year-old Abby, who is a vampire, in the American remake of the Swedish movie of Let the Right One In entitled, Let Me In, which has been released on October 2010. Her 2011 projects includes her role as Isabelle in the adaptation movie of The Invention of Hugo Cabret, which is set to hit the big screen in November 23, 2011.
