Christopher Mintz is an American actor, who is most notable for the portrayal in films such as Superbad, Role Models, year One and Kick Ass, was born on June 20, 1989 in Los Angeles, to Ellen Mintz and Ray Plasse, a school counselor and a mailman. Christopher Mintz, who was baptized with the real name of Christopher Charles MIntz-Plass, is said to be a Jewish and was also raised in West Hills, California. In addition, MIntz entered the El Canino Real high School in year 2003 up to year 2007 and he was being tutored while he was on the said of the film called, Superbad.
Prior to his appearance in the comedy film entitled, Superbad, Christopher Mintz has already performed in his drama classed from his first grade until his senior year in high school. In Superbad film, Mintz portrayed the role of Fogell (McLovin). In addition, he and his two high school friends auditioned for the said film. On the other hand, MIntz has no professional head shots before he auditioned for the role and he just took some head shots through the use of his phone’s camera. Hi mother was required by law to attend his shooting while they were filming his sex scene because of the reason that he was just 17 when the movie was filmed.
In year 2008, Christopher Mintz made a short appearance in the late-night talks show called, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he performed the during the segment of I’m Fucking Ben Affleck. MIntz also made an appearance in the Internet PSAs for voting as well as for the Night of Too Many Stars. In the website of YouTube, one of its video which is called as the Teabag Incident, Mintz together with his friends show the risk of Teabagging. However, the said video has been watched by less than 60,000 people. On the other hand, Mintz also presented the award for the best hip-hop video with the Slipknot at the MTV Video Music Awards in year 2008.
He then appeared together with Paul Rudd and Sean William in the film of David Wann entitled, Role Models. He subsequently included in the casts of the 3D animated film of How to Train Your Dragon, where he voiced for the character of Fishlegs Ingerman. He then appeared in the superhero comedy film of Kick-Ass, where he portrayed the role of Red Mist or also known as Chris D’Amico in year 2010. Also, in year 2010, Mintz appeared as a guest star in one of the episodes of the comedy series called, Part Down, where he played for the role of Kent. In June 2010, it was said that Mintz was included in the casts of the remake of Craig Gillspie’s Fright Night. In addition, he also made an appearance in one of the music video of Kid Cudi entitled, Erase Me, which also featured the hip hop artist, Kanye West.
