Colin Farrell is an Irish Actor, who is most notable for the portrayal in the films of Tigerland and Miami Vice as well as Alexander. Farrell was born on May 31, 1976 in Dublin, to Rita and Eamon Farrell, a housewife and the one who owns a company importing and exporting canned goods in Dublin City. Farrell was raised as a Roman Catholic and has two siblings named Claudine and Catherine and a brother, Eamon Jr,. He was Baptized with the real name of Colin Farrell. When he was at the young age of ten, he together with his family relocated to Castleknock. On the other hand, Farrell entered the St. Brigid’s National School Castleknock as well as the Castleknock College and the Gormonston College. In addition, he also entered The Gaiety School of Acting. However, he left the said school for him to be included in the TV series of Ballykissangel.

In year 2008, he also starred in the film called, In Bruges, where he portrayed the lead role of Ray. On the same year, he also appeared in the film of Kicking It. On the following year, he earned a Golden Globe award for the Best Actor: Musical or Comedy for his portrayal in the film of In Bruges. In year 2011, he appeared in the black comedy film of the Horrible Bossess, together with Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis as well as Jennifer Aniston and Jamie Foxx.
