Demi Moore Leaves Rehab and Goes on a VacationDemi Moore is no longer receiving treatment at Cirque Lodge addiction treatment center in Sundance, Utah, E! News reports. According to E! News, the Margin Call actress is currently on vacation in an undisclosed location and she is no rush to get back to L.A. and a source said that she is on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people. The time Moore entered treatment has been marked with drug rumors and death hoaxes, along with numerous other false media stories concerning Moore’s condition.

The actress, 49, reportedly checked into the facility in late January to deal with an eating disorder and addiction issues. Moore’s decision to seek treatment came on the heels of her emergency hospitalization after smoking an “incense-like substance” January 23. A source said that everyone thought she was going to die and it was terrifying. Following her split with Ashton Kutcher in November, the actress’ life was in complete crisis. She is turning 50 in November and has no idea who she is or what her life should be. Friends of Moore were relieved the actress decided to finally face her issues. A source explained of the actress who first went to rehab in 1985 that she knows she is in a bad place and needs help noting that she needed something serious to get her back on track. Demi’s reps haven’t commented on Demi’s current state but friends recently revealed that she is totally committed to getting better. They said Demi has a long way to go but she is getting better and she has many days where she feels great. Her daughter, Rumer even spoke about it, saying that her mother is on the road to recovery noting that it is slow going but they believe in her.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Adderall is Demi’s drug of choice, and the stick-thin actress would frequently subsist on just energy drinks for days on end. A source close to the actress said shortly after hospitalization that Demi has been taking Adderall and drinking energy drinks starving herself and those are some of the serious causes that led her to collapse last January 23. Demi’s children, Rumer, 23, and Tallulah, 18, are currently staying with her former husband Bruce Willis, who reportedly had reached out to her prior to her health scare. Her other daughter Scout , 20, is currently away from home to study at Brown University. Previous patients at Cirque Lodge include Lindsay Lohan, Mary-Kate Olsen and Eva Mendes.

Demi Moore’s 911 Caller: She Smoked SomethingPartially redacted tapes of a 911 call made from Demi Moore’s home the day she was rushed to a hospital is fueling speculations about what she may have smoked to induce what the caller described as “convulsions.”

Demi Moore suffered convulsions after smoking an undisclosed substance, according to a tape of an emergency call from last Monday. The 911 call placed from Demi Moore’s home has been released by the Los Angeles Fire Department. On the heavily redacted recording, which lasts about 10 minutes, one of Moore’s friends begins arguing with dispatcher amid confusion over which agency covers the neighborhood and should be sending paramedics. An unidentified female caller can be heard saying to the operator that they need an ambulance there as soon as possible and later asking why is an ambulance not on its way right then and why is that taking so long.

The caller continued saying that Moore smoked something noting that it is not Marijuana but it is similar to incense and she seems to be having convulsions of some sort. According to the caller, Moore is semi-conscious, barely. The operator then asked if it was accidental or intentional. The caller explained that she smoked something but the reaction was accidental confirming that it is indeed accidental. Another female then gets on the call. The operator asked if Moore was breathing normally. The female caller answered no explaining that it is not so normally, more sort of shaking and convulsing and burning up.

According to the caller, she has been having some issues lately with some other stuff noting that she does not know what Moore has been taking.  She said that she is taking cold water and putting it on Moore’s back because she is burning up, she is squeezing hands and can’t speak. The operator then asked if Moore has done this before. The woman said that she does not know explaining that there has been some stuff recently that they are just finding out. A male then gets on the phone saying that Moore seems to have calmed down little bit and is speaking.  He added that Moore seems much calmed and she is breathing fine by then. By the end of the call, the paramedics have arrived to take Moore to Sherman Oaks Hospital, where she has since been discharged.

As previously reported on, AccessHollywood.com, Demi’s rep released a statement on Tuesday concerning the actress’ health. According to the rep’s statement, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health because of the stresses in her life right now.  The rep added that she looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.

In November, she ended her marriage to actor Ashton Kutcher, 33. Her split from Kutcher, whom she married in 2005, followed allegations of his infidelity. Moore was formerly married to actor Bruce Willis, with whom she had three daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Belle.

Demi Moore: Fears of Being UnlovedIn an interview conducted just one week after Moore filed for divorce in November, the “Ghost” star opened up to her friend, British photographer Amanda De Cadenet, for the February edition of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.  Demi Moore covers Harper’s Bazaar’s February 2012 issue, on newsstands Tuesday (January 17).

Moore, 49, did not directly address her split with Kutcher, the 33-year-old star of television comedy “Two and a Half Men.”  The marriage foundered after a San Diego woman went public about a brief fling she had with Kutcher.  However, in a wide-ranging conversation with De Cadenet about insecurities, Moore said that what scares her is that she is going to ultimately find out at the end of her life that she is really not lovable, that she is not worthy of being loved.  She continued saying that there is something fundamentally wrong with her and that she was not wanted in the first place.  The marriage was Moore’s third, and the 16-year age difference between her and Kutcher made them the subject of constant media attention.

The 49-year-old actress shared with Harper’s Bazaar that it’s tough being a woman in her industry, where she is constantly scrutinized and criticized for her appearance.  Demi explained that she think she sits today in a place of greater acceptance of her body, and that includes not just her weight but all of the things that come with your changing body as you age to now experiencing her body as extremely thin, thin in a way that she never imagined somebody would be saying to her that she is too thin and she does not look good.  In addition, she said that she has a love hate relationship with her body.  She explained that when she is at the greatest odds with her body, it is usually because she feel her body is betraying her, whether that has been in the past struggling with her weight and feeling she could not eat what she wanted to eat, or that she could not get her body to do what she wanted to do.

Moore added that freedom for her meant letting go of the outcome, truly being in the moment, not reflecting on the past and not projecting into the future. According to her, that is freedom noting that not caring more about what other people think than what you think.  To not be defined by your wounds, she said that somebody wrote something to her that said, ‘Don’t let your wounds make you become someone you’re not.’ That’s really powerful. And not taking life too seriously,” she told De Cadenet.  And now that she and Ashton Kutcher are divorced, Moore is dealing with a whole new set of circumstances.  According to her, what scares her the most is not knowing and accepting that just about everything is not in her control noting that makes her feel unsafe.  She thinks being comfortable is perhaps overrated and thinks that a better word than comfortable is accepting.  Accepting weaknesses and strengths and being more able to celebrate all of it as a whole package.

Moore and De Cadenet are executive producers of a new TV interview series called “The Conversation” that is due to premiere on cable channel Lifetime later in 2012.

Demi Moore to Play Gloria Steinem in Lovelace MovieDemi Moore has signed on for her first movie role since announcing her split from Ashton Kutcher.  Demi Moore joined the star studded cast of Lovelace, a film based on the story of porn star Linda Lovelace, as the iconic feminist Gloria Steinem, THR reports.  The 49-year-old actress will play opposite a supporting cast actors including Amanda Seyfried, Peter Sarsgaard, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Hank Azaria, and James Franco in a cameo as Hugh Hefner.

Gloria Steinem, now 77, really hates porn.  She has spent a large portion of her career rallying people against the porn industry, saying things like, “Whatever the gender of the participants, all pornography is an imitation of the male-female, conqueror-victim paradigm,” and “”Erotica is as different from pornography as love is from rape.”  As a result, it makes perfect sense for her to show up in a biopic about Linda Lovelace, a woman who spent her early years as a porn star and her latter years fighting against it.  In real life, Steinem published an article about Lovelace in Ms. Magazine (a publication she created in 1972), which uncovered the truth about the starlet’s experience in the porn industry.  In the article, Steinem talked about the Deep Throat Star’s abusive relationship with her pornographer husband Chuck Traynor.  It’s worth noting that Steinem was known for having blonde hair while Moore has always had her raven locks, so it will be interesting to see if that changes for the production.

Adam Brody and Eric Roberts recently joined the cast as well.  Roberts will play a lie-detector expert while Brody will play “Deep Throat” male lead Harry Reems.  The film is currently shooting in Los Angeles.  Lovelace’s role in the notorious 1972 hardcore-porn movie made her one of the best-known figures in adult entertainment.  As previously announced, Amanda Seyfried will play the title role in the movie, which Millennium Films is making with the cooperation of Lovelace’s estate.  Peter Sarsgaard will portray Lovelace’s husband, Chuck Traynor, and James Franco will play Hugh Hefner.  Other castmembers include Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, Wes Bentley, Sharon Stone and Juno Temple.

“Lovelace” is directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (“Bowl,” “The Celluloid Closet”). The screenplay was written by Andy Bellin (“Trust”).  The film has an estimated budget of $10 million and is currently filming. A release date has not been set.  “Lovelace” is being produced by Heidi Jo Markel, Laura Rister, Jason Weinberg and Jim Young.  Boaz Davidson, Danny Dimbort, Mark Gill, W. Merritt Johnson, Avi Lerner, Trevor Short and John Thompson are executive producing.  “Lovelace” is one of two Linda Lovelace projects now under way.  Writer-director Matthew Wilder’s “Inferno: A Linda Lovestace Story,” based on Lovelace’s autobiography, is due in 2013.  Malin Akerman will star in that movie.

Last seen in the ensemble financial drama “Margin Call” and the Sam Levinson-directed drama “Another Happy Day,” Moore will next be seen alongside Miley Cyrus in the comedy “LOL.”
