The 28-year-old English actress was born on February 23, 1983 in the Roehampton London, England, to Janice M, and Oliver Simon Peter Blunt, an actress and barrister. Her father is one of the well known barristers in the UK. She previously lives together with her former boyfriend, the Canadian recording artist Michael Buble?. The two met on the backstage of the Australian TV of Logie Awards at Melbourne in year 2005. Her voice was also featured as a background voice on one of the covers of Michael called, Me and Mrs. Jones on hisalbum called, Call Me Irresponsible.

Emily’s first ever lead role landed in the Bristish drama film of My Summer Love in year 2004. Her appearance on the said film was followed by the film of The Devil Wears Prada in year 2006, where she was garnered a Golden Globe nomination and a BAFTA. After that, she appears in several American and Bristish productions, which also includes the 2007 film of Charlie Wilson’s War and the 2009 film of The Young Victoria. She also includes in the casts of the film of The Wolfman and Wild Target in 2010 and her most recent film called, The Adjustment Bureau.

At the young age of 16, Emily Blunt relocated to Hurtwood House a sixth form college, which is known for its performing arts program. When she was still on her A-level year, Blunt was noticed by an agent and she made her professional debut in a musical production that was written by Paul Sellar entitled, Bliss. She then went into the National Theatre and a Chichester Festival Theater for her to perform. Blunt appeared in the British TV drama called, Boudica, which follows the life of an ancient British warrior-queen who will fight the Romans. The said drama earned her a considerable praise for her portrayal as Catherine Howard.

She earned her breakout role when she appeared in the Bristish film of My Summer of Love in year 2004, where she portrayed the role of Tamsin. On the following year, she also starred in the British Drama show called, Gideon’s Daughter, where she portrayed the role of the daughter of the doctor Gideon Warner, which is portrayed Nighy. The show earned her a Golden Globe Award.

In year 2005, Blunt also starred in the box office hit film of The Devil Wears Prade, together with Anne Hataway and Meryl Streep. She then appeared together with Susan Sarandon in the film of The Girl in The Park, which has been directed by David Auburn. In year 2007 she was included in the casts of the film Charkie Wilson’s War. In year 2009 she portrayed the role of Queen Victoria in the film of The Young Victoria, which was directed by the film director Julian Fellowes. The film also starred Miranda Richardson and Rupert Friend. Emily Blunt is set to film her upcoming film entitled, The Five-Year Engagement, together with the star of Jason Segel. On the other hand, she is also set to star in the upcoming comedy together with Colin Firth.
