Eva Green is a French actress-model, who was born on July 5, 1980 in Paris, to Marlene Jobert and Walter Green, a French actress and a dentist. Green has a fraternity twin sister named, Joy. She was baptized with the real name of Eva Gaelle Green and grew up in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. In addition, Eva Green was raised in France and entered the American University of Paris, which is said to be an English-speaking institution. Green enhanced her interes in Egyptology, when she visited the Louvre at the young age of seven. When she reached the age of 14, Green made a decision to be an actress, after seeing The Story of Adele H. at the age of 17, Green entered the St. Paul Drama in Paris for three year. She also entered the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in Londn, for not less than ten weeks. In addition, she was also trained at the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, prior to her return in Paris.
In year 2002, the film director Bernardo Bertolucci discovered her and on the following year, she accepted the invitation of Bertolucci to star in the 2003 drama film called, The Dreamers, which also starred Michael Pitt and Louis Garrel. It was followed by a spot in the 2004 film called, Arsene Lupin, where she portrayed the role of Clarisse de Dreux-Soubise. On the following year she portrayed the role of Princess Sibylla in the action-epic film entitled, Kingdom of Heaven, which also starred Orlando Bloom and Jeremy Irons as well as David Thewlis and Marton Csokas. In year 2006, Green was included in the casts if the film called, Casion royale, where she portrayed the role of Vesper Lynd.
On the other hand, Green portrayed the role of the witch named Serafina Pekkala in the 2007 film adaptation of The Golden Compass, whih also starred Nicole Kidman and Dakota Blue Richards as well as Daniel Craig and Ian McKellen. She subsequently portrayed the role of Emilia in the 2008 film called, Franklyn, together with the stars of Ryan Phillippe and Sam Riley. On the following year, she appeared in Womb. On the other hand, Green starred in the TV series of Camelot, together with Joseph Fiennes and Jamie Campbell Bower. In year 2011, Green was included in the casts of the film adaptation of Tim Burton entitled, Dark Shadows, where she portrays the role of Angelique Bouchard. She also appeared in the 2011 film of The Last Word, which was directed by David Mackenzie. In the film, she portrayed the role of Susan, together with the stars of Ewan McGregor and Connie Nielsen as well as Stephen Dillane.
