Greg Kinnear is an American actor, who is most notable for the portrayal of Simon Bishop in the romantic comedy film called, As Good as It Gets. He was born on June 7, 1963 in Lagansport, Indiana, to Suzanna and Edward Kinnear, a homemaker and a career diplomat had previously served for the U.S. State Department. In addition, Kinnear has two brothers named James and Steven. While she was still studying at the American Community Schools in Athens, Kinnear first took the role of a talk show host in the radio show called, School Daze With Greg Knnear. When he made his return in the United States, Kinnear entered the University of Arizona, where she graduated in year 1985, having the degree in broadcast journalism. In addition, when Kinnear was still in Arizona, she became one of the members of the Alpha Tau Omega.

On the other hand, Kinnear has also hosted the game show called, College Mad House and after that he became the creator as well as the co-executive producer and the host of the Fox’s show called, Best of the Worst, which was aired from year 1990 to year 1991. Kinnear became the first artist to host the Talk Soup in year 1991. Kinnear left the said show for the NBC’s Later with Greg Kinnear in year 1994. On the same year, Kinnear made his first film role in the comedy entitled, Blankman, where he portrayed the role of a talk show host. In year 1995, he earned the spot of David Larrabee in the remake of the 1954 classic Sabrina. On the following year he portrayed the lead role in the comedy film entitled. Dear Good.

On the other hand, in year 1997, Kinnear was included in the casts of the comedy drama film of As Good as it Gets, where he earned a nomination for the Academy Award for the Best Supporting Actor. He then appeared in the film entitled, A Smile Like Yours, together with the star Lauren Holly. He subsequently starred together with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks in the romantic comedy film of You’ve Got Me. In year 2002, Kinnear appeared in the film called, Auto Focus, where he portrayed the lead role of Bob Crane. On the following year, he starred alongside Matt Damon and Eve Medes in the comedy film called, Stuck on You. He then collaborated with Pierce Brosnan in the 2005 film of The Matador, where he portrayed the role of Danny Wright.

Furthermore, Kinnear also appeared with Steve Carell in the 2006 comedy drama film of Little Miss Sunshine and in the film of Invincible, which also starred Mark Wahlberg. In year 2008, Kinnear portrayed one of the lead roles in the film of Flash Genius. In year 2011, he starred in the miniseries called, The Kennedys, where he portrayed the role of John F. Kennedy but it was announced on January 2011 that the show had been cancelled from the network. It was then picked up by the ReelzChannel.
