Jason Segel, a 31 year-old American Actor who was born on January 18, 1980 in Los Angeles California, to Jilian and Alvin Segel, a honemaker and a lawyer. He was raised in the Pacific Palisades in California. His father is a Jewish, while his mother is a Christian. he was raised with his father’s religion but he also attended a Christian school.

After his elementary level, Segel finished his middle and his high school studies at the Harvard Westlake School, where his height helped him to be one of the active members of the state champion boys’ basket ball team in year 1998 and became the backup center following the American professional basket ball player, Jason Collins. While he was still in college, he is looking forward to be a well known actor someday. He has already performed in a local theater productions at the Palisades Playhouse.

Segel is not only an actor but a screenwriter, a puppeteer and a musician as well. He is famously known for his collaboration with the renowned film director Judd Apatow, on his TV series called, Freaks and Geeks as well as the Undeclared. He also earned famous when he appeared in the films of Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Knocked Up as well in the films of I Love You Man, Gulliver’s Travel and Despicable Me. He is also notable for his portrayal in the sitcom of the CBS Network called, How I Met Your Mother.

Segel was included in the casts of the NBC drama series of Freaks and Geeks, where he portrayed the role of ‘Freak’ Nick Andopolis. It was said that Segel himself wrote a song for his character, to sing together with the lead female character portrayed by Linda Cardellini, in one of the episodes of the show. It was said that Cardellini and Segel have dated for year after the show has being canceled.

Together with the film director Nicholas Stoller, Segel was included by the Disney to write the next Muppets film.  He was also included in the film called, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, were his role wrote a Dracula musical that has been performed by the puppets. He then appeared on the 1000th episode of the show of The Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

On the other hand, Jason Segel was reportedly wrote most of the soundtrack’s music in the 2010 American comedy film of Get Him to the Greek, which was performed by the imaginary band called, Infant Sorrow. He then made an appearance in The Late Show with Craig Ferguson and even performed the song called, Wonky Eyed Girl. In year 2010, his voiced was featured in the movie called, Despicable Me, for the role of Vector. On the same year, he portrayed the role of Horatio in the fantasy comedy film of Gulliver’s Travels. In addition, Jason Segel is set to shoot the upcoming film of Five-Year Engagement together with Emily Blunt in the Sprig of 2011, in Michigan. Segel has recently appeared in the film of Bad Teacher together with the stars of Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake.
