Jeremy Piven is an American actor and producer, who is most notable for the portrayal of Ari Gold in the TV series called, Entourage. He was born on July 26, 1965 in Manhattan, New York, to Byrne Piven and Joyce Piven, who were actors and both drama teachers. He was baptized with the real name of Jeremy Samuel Piven and grew up in Evanston, Illinois. He attended and graduated from the Evanston Township High School. He also entered the Harand Theater Camp in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, where he portrayed Bernardo in West Side Story on the said school. He also entered the Piven Theater Workshop, which has been established by his mother and father. In addition, Piven also entered the Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where he became one of the members of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
On the other hand, Piven portrayed the role of Ty in the 1986 romantic-comedy film entitled, One Crazy Summer, which also starred John Cusack and Demi Moore. He then included in the casts of the 1989 film of Say Anything, where he portrayed the role of Mark, together again with John Cusack and Ione Skye. In year 1992, Piven portrayed the role of Doug Hughley in the romantic comedy film of Singles. On the same year, he appeared as Albert Lodge n the film entitled, There Goes the Neighborhood, which also starred Jeff Daniels and Catherine O’Hara. Also, in year 1992, Piven was included as one of the regular casts of the sitcom of HBO called, The Larry Sanders Show. On the following year, he portrayed the role of George Costanza in one of the episodes of the TV series of Seinfeld entitled, The Pilot.
Subsequently, Piven began appearing in various winning films, which also includes the film called, Grosse Pointe Blank, where he portrayed the role of Paul Spericki as well as in the comedy film of Very Bad Thing, which also starred Jon Favreau and Cameron Diaz. In year 2000, he appeared as Arnie, together with Nicolas Cage and Tea Leoni in the drama film entitled, The Family Man. On the following year, Piven also appeared in the film of Black Hawk Down. In year 2004 his career became much fresh when he portrayed the role of Ari Gold in the TV series of Entourage, which earned him several Emmy Nominations as well as awards.
In year 2007, he appeared in the film called, The Kingdom, where he portrayed the role of Damon Schmidt together with Jamie Foxx and Chris Cooper as well as Jennifer Garner and Jason Bateman. On the following year, he appeared as Roman in British film of RocknRolla. Piven was also included in the ensemble of the 2009 comedy film entitled, The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. In year 2011, Piven starred as Ron in the thriller film of I Melt with You, which also starred Rob Lowe and Thomas Jane. On the same year, he portrayed the timekeeper in the film of Spy Kids: All the time in the World.
