The 30-year-old American actress who was born on March 28, 1981 in New York City to Judith Stiles and John O’Hara, a potter and a businessman. Her father has an Irish descent while her mother has the combination of Italian and English ancestry. Stiles showed her passion in acting at the young age of 11, performing together with the New York’s La MaMa Theatre Company.

In year 1996, she landed on the film called, I Love You, I love You Not, together with Claire and Jude Law. On the following year, she landed on a starring role in the romantic comedy film of Down to You, where she and her co star Freddie Prize earned a nomination for the Teen Choice Award for their on-screen chemistry.

She then appeared in Shakespearean adaptations like, Hamlet in year 2000, where she portrayed the role of Ophelia together with Ethan Hawke, she also starred in the version of Othello called, O. She the starred in the successful romantic drama dance film of Save the Last Dance in year 2001. Her portrayal on the said film garnered her two MTV awards for the category of Best Kiss and Best Female Performance as well as a Teen Choice Award for the Best fight scene with Bianca Lawson.

Stiles portrayed the role of Nicolette Parsons in the 2002 film of The Bourne Identity and an enlarge role in the 2004 The Bourne Supremacy, the portrayed an expanded role in The Bourne Ultimatum in year 2007. She appeared alongside Live Schreiber in the 1976 horror film remake called, The Omen. The film was released on June 6, 2006. Stiles also made an appearance in the 2008 film of Gospel Hill. She then played the role of a woman who fell in love with her stalker in the 2009 film of The Cry of the Owl, it was said that the film was initially based on the book of Patricia Highsmith. It was said that Stiles is currently filming her latest project called Between Us, together with the stars of Taye Diggs and David Harbour as well as Melissa George.
