Kellan Lutz showed up with his girlfriend, actress Sharni Vinson, to the premiere of his new film “Immortals” Monday night, and the pair did not hold back with their public displays of affection.  After Lutz finished posing for red carpet photos and signing autographs for fans, he headed over to lock lips with Vinson.  The actor, who previously dated “90210″ star AnnaLynne McCord, was first linked to Vinson back in July.

The gorgeous girl in white was a 28-year-old Australian actress best known in her homeland for a starring role on the long-running soap “Home and Away,” but best known in the rest of the world for her starring role in the movie “Step Up 3D.”  You also might have seen Vinson pop up on shows like “Cold Case,” “My Boys,” “NCIS” and “CSI: NY.”  Vinson can also be seen in the upcoming horror film “You’re Next.”  Lutz has not officially spoken out about his new relationship, but the couple’s PDA-filled red carpet appearance says all we need to know.

Alongside Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto, Lutz stars in the 3-D action flick as Poseidon, god of the sea.  Lutz is completely ripped in the movie, wearing a suit of armor that accentuates his eight-pack.  Lutz said that playing Poseidon is great because he does not think it has been done yet adding that he does not think anyone has really created a young god.  According to him, they always had weights on set as well as trainers and nutritionists making him feel pampered.

Kellan rose to fame after starring in the Twilight series, and he will also be seen in the long-awaited Breaking Dawn flick, the fourth movie in the Twilight Saga.  Lutz said that this latest film will be a lot more adult than the previous films.  According to him, there is a lot more skin, first of all and it is for a more mature audience.  He said that their audience has grown up with them and they have to hrow along with them.

When it comes to dating, Lutz said he does not really try very hard.  According to him, he does not google himself but he heard that people think he is gay noting that he heard it all.  He said that he does not really go after girls and most of the girlfriends he had have come after him.  He added that women often get offended when he does not hit on them.  He said that girls will transform their insecurity into provoking him and telling him that he is into guys and has a boyfriend.  He explained that there will always be rumors but he knew who he was.

After months of dating rumors, Lutz and actress Sharni Vinson went public with their romance in September.  An insider said that she is a lot of fun and they are both very into working out adding that they hang out in Venice a lot a just stay low-key.

The last installment to the “Twilight Saga,” “Breaking Dawn,” is a lot more mature than the previous series according to Kellan Lutz.  “There’s a lot more skin, first of all. It’s for a more mature audience. Our audience has grown up with us, and we have to grow along with them,” he told The Advocate, when asked if director Bill Condon brought a “gay sensibility” to the franchise. “The original high school fans are in college now, and they want to see more skin. Bill has Taylor Lautner topless all the time, so there’s some great eye-candy.  “We have so many cast members in the movie, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the characters was gay and I just didn’t know it. I’d be all for it,” he added.

The star playing the role of Emmet Cullen was also intrigued with gay rumors but the straight guy said it is probably due to his dating style.  “I don’t Google myself, but I’ve heard that people think I’m gay. I’ve heard it all,” the actor told the magazine. “See, I don’t really go after girls. Most of the girlfriends I’ve had have come after me.”  “It’s really funny when girls get offended because I don’t hit on them. They’ll transform their insecurity into, ‘Oh, that makes sense, because I heard you’re into guys and have a boyfriend.’ I’m like, ‘Seriously? That’s your tactic to get me to like you?’ There will always be rumors, but I know who I am,” he added.

He also opens up about his preferences when it comes to roommates.  “Honestly, I’d prefer to live with gay guys,” he told The Advocate of his roommate preferences. “They’re the cleanest, and they just take care of stuff. Because I’m always away, coming home to a clean house means a lot to me. Trust me, I’ve lived with a lot of roommates, and straight guys are just kids who don’t pick up after themselves.”

Even if the actor appeared in a number of topless photo-shoots, Kellan Lutz said he is not trying to flaunt his body.  “I love a topless run by the beach, and it does suck when paparazzi is there. It’s like, ‘Do I keep my shirt on because I don’t want to be shirtless in another magazine?’ I don’t want to be known as the guy who always takes his shirt off.  “I’ve done a lot of photo shoots lately for the press coming up with Immortals and Breaking Dawn, and every photographer wants to get the topless shot. We’ve really had to be choosy and not do that for every magazine. I’ve actually been trying to keep my clothes on more.”

The funny guy also shows his funny side in the interviews, about the much anticipated hard-to-imagine birthing scene, Kellan cracked, “I think they should show it and have Emmett in the background laughing.”  With the potentially bloody sequence, Lutz said,   “I love the way that they’re showing it,” he said. “I really thought that was going to be really a tough thing to show.”
