Kimberleigh Marie Zolciak or Kim Zolciak born on May 19, 1978 is an American reality television personality known for her participation on the Bravo series The Real Housewives of Atlanta.  The seven-episode series follows five women from Atlanta’s social elite as they cope with their busy home lives and promising careers. The glamorous southern belles will show that life in their turf is no easy feat, since they have to prove that they are not just housewives, but ambitious and classy entrepreneurs as well.

Kim was born in Pensacola, Florida and was raised in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.  She graduated from East Catholic High School in Manchester, Connecticut, in 1996 and was a 2000 graduate of the University of Connecticut.  That same year, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia.

On October 7, 2008, Zolciak has been seen on the reality television series The Real Housewives of Atlanta, airing on Bravo.  Zolciak started out on the show working her debut country music album.  In 2009, however, Zolciak released her debut single, the dance track, “Tardy for the Party.”  In 2010, Zolciak released a remix EP featuring remixes of “Tardy for the Party.”

Kim Zolciak and her wig are two of the reality stars on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta.  Kim is a chain smoking gold digger who sleeps with married men and allegedly used to be a stripper – she met fellow former stripper NeNe Leakes at the strip club.  The series expands the success brought about by its predecessors, the famed The Real Housewives of Orange County and The Real Housewives of New York. With the series being brought to the exclusive Atlanta areas, there’s no doubt that these ladies will show everyone what it takes to be a real housewife in the south.

The scene of country music is a field that Kim Zolciak wishes to conquer, pulling forth a bundle of inspiration from her two children.  Living in an exclusive gated townhouse community in Duluth, Georgia, she is the single mother of 14-year-old Brielle and nine-year-old Ariana.  Her foray in the music business has landed her work alongside Grammy Award-winning mega-producer Dallas Austin, renowned for his notable clientele.

Both he and Zolciak are developing an album, and it won’t be long until the musical mom joins the ranks of Dallas Austin’s top artists, like Janet Jackson, Stacie Orrico, Leona Lewis, Gwen Stefani, and Aretha Franklin.  A career in that trade will definitely boost Zolciak’s already vivacious social life, as she is already a staple in the Atlanta circuit.  Zolciak has had a turbulent love life, once dating a guy she referred to as “Big Poppa.” She’s blonde and big-boned and apparently a lesbian.  She came out of the closet with a woman named Tracy Young in early 2010.

She was married to Dan Toce from 2001 to 2003.  In May 2010, Zolciak met Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann at the charity event Dancing with Atlanta Stars.  Their meeting was later shown on season three of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.  On November 22,2010, Zolciak confirmed that she was pregnant by Atlanta Falcons pro football player Kroy Biermann.  On May 30, 2011, their son Kroy Jagger Biermann Jr. was born.  On October 11, 2011, ZOlciak announced her engagement to Biermann.  The couple wed at their Atlanta home on November 11, 2011.  The new Zolciak-Biermann family lives in their dream home in the affluent community of Roswell.

Real housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak weds her NFL beau Kroy Biermann on November 11, 2011 at their lavish Atlanta spread.  As one of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, her wedding was always going to be an extravagant affair.  Kim Zolciak did not disappoint with her choice of gown, walking down the aisle at her Atlanta home last week in an opulent wedding dress worth a whopping $58,000.

A new picture in this week’s issue of Life & Style magazine shows the star posing in the low cut 32 pound creation, alongside new husband Kroy Biermann.  Kim bought the hand-made Baracci Beverly Hills gown from website PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com after falling in love with the used frock online.  The over-the-top number was covered in Swarovski crystals, pearls, beads and embroidered lace, while the fabric was 100 percent Duchess Satin.  She also wore a matching veil, which had the same, hand-stitched detailing and a glittering tiara.  Kim told Life & Style magazine that she just remember thinking that her wedding day is the day she has waited for adding that she really do feel like she is dreaming.

While Kim has been receiving rave reviews all around for her look on the big occasion, she tweeted her gratitude to all.  She said thank you so much to her tweethearts for all the congrats adding that she is glad to got to share that journey with all of them and noted that it is amazing.  Kim Zolciak somehow thinks her wedding could rival Kim Kardashian’s because she just mailed out the most paranoid wedding invitations ever, BANNING guests from bringing cameras to the ceremony.  TMZ obtained a copy of the invite, which expressly prohibits the use of cell phones, cameras, or other recording devices while she ties the knot with Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann.  Kim even warns guests that they will have to sign a release if they want to attend the wedding because the entire event will be filmed as part of her new spin-off show (yet to be confirmed by Bravo).

Kroy, an American football player for the Atlanta Falcons, sported a white suit jacket and black bow tie for the nuptials which were attended by Kim’s daughters Brielle, 14, and Ariana, nine, from her first marriage.  The couple’s baby son Kroy Jagger, who was born in June, was also there. Kim clearly loved every aspect of her special day, which took place on ‘lucky date’ November 11, 2011.  She write on her Twitter account that she is walking on a cloud and she is so grateful for the beautiful weather on her beautiful day.

Kim met her much-younger husband at an Atlanta fundraiser in 2010 and thinks he fits in perfectly with her family.  She told People magazine during her pregnancy that he is really fantastic with her girls and she could not have asked for a better partner ever.  Kim, 33, and Kroy, 26, got engaged in early October this year.
