Kristen Bell is an American actress who was born on July 18, 1980 in Huntington Woods, Michiganomm Bell and Lorelei “Lori” Bell, a TV news director and a registered nurse. Bell was baptized with the real name of Kristen Anne Bell with the combination of Polish and Scottish decent.  When she was at the young age of two, Bell’s parents got divorced and she has two half sisters named Sara and Jody.

Before her first year in high school starts, her parents made a decision to pull her out of public school and then she entered the Shrine Catholic High School close to Royal Oak, where she joined the drama and music club. When she was still on the said school she earned the lead role in the production called The Wizard of Oz, where she portrayed the role of Dorothy Gale in late 1997. Also, she made an appearance in the 1995 production of Fiddler on the Roof. On the following year she was also included in the casts of Lady Be Good and Li’l Abner in year 1998.

After she completed her high school year, she relocated to New York City to enter the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, where she took major in musical theater.  Kristen Bell’s first audtion she gained a dual role as a banana and a tree in a suburban Detroit theater’s production of the Raggedy Ann and Andy. Kristen Bell’s mother established her before she was 13 with an agent for her to be seen in newspaper advertisements in Detroit and some television commercials. She also started attending private acting lessons. She had a chance to be seen with an uncredited character in the film called, Polish Wedding, which was said to be locally filmed.

Bell left the New York University for her to have the lead role in the lived broadway musical play of the Adventures of Tom Sawyer in year 2001. In addition, it was said that Bell portrayed the role of Becky Thatcher. On the same year, Bell debuted in the credited film of Pootie Tang. In addition, Bell also tried out for the role of Chloe Sullivan inthe TV series of Smallville. However, the said role was soon earned by Allison Mack. In year 2003, Kristen Bell earned a spot in the Hallmark Channel film called, The King and Queen of Moonlight Bay. On the other hand, Bell has was also starred in the show of Punk’d.

In year 2006, Bell garnered a Saturn Award for the category for the Best Actress on Television for her performance on the Veronica Mars. The show of Veronica Mars continued on the network of UPN and was released in the new network of The CW but on the same year the show has been cancelled. After the Veronica Mars was cancelled, Bell soon filmed for her lead role in the comedy film of forgetting Sarah Marshall, which has been directed by Judd Apataw and was written by Jason Segel. On the other hand, she made an appearance on the recently released film of Scream 4. It was also said that Bell is set to appear in the upcoming films of Everybody Loves Whales and Dance of the Mirlitons.
