The monster singer, Lady Gaga and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, took over Harvard University to launch their Born This Way Foundation on Wednesday (February 29). In front of a crowd that included Oprah Winfrey, the New York natives kicked off their inspirational foundation, hoping to empower the youth of America.

Gaga enthusiastically opened up about the foundation and what she hopes to do with it. She opened the ceremony by introducing Oprah who then delivered her personal speech. Gaga also thanked all the people in the event – from her entire team, from her mother, from the bottom of the hearts of so many people who believe in what they are doing today. The pop music sensation dons a chocolate-brown gown, brown lace gloves, towering platforms and a sparkly fishnet hat. On her speech, Gaga said that she is not there that day to give them an answer and she is not there to tell them she can solve those problems of bullying. She said that it is about transformative change in culture over a period of time. One of the most important things she wanted to share with all of those on attendance is that it is no secret she speaks out against bullying. She said that it is not an anti-bullying foundation but it is about changing the climate of the school environment and not putting the power in the hands of the teachers or the government. She continued saying that it is about the bubble effect and she said that she does not believe that they have the answers but she believes that all of us do.

Aside from her fans, Gaga said her biggest influence to start the foundation is her own Mother Monster. According to her, her mother really inspires her because she talked about giving back since she was very, very young and the more that she got to know her fans, the more that she realized that not everybody has that support system at home. Her mother later enthused that despite the snow outside saying that it is even more beautiful inside because they are launching the foundation and she added that they youth that is listening is the leaders of our future.

In addition to the launch of her foundation, Gaga is premiering her Born Brave Bus, which is essentially a bus that is going to travel and follow her tour bus around the country and it will welcome anyone from any walk of life to come and hang out and talk about love, acceptance, kindness and so forth. According to Gaga, the best thing about it is that it is going to be fun. She said that it is going to essentially be a tailgate explaining that it is not about saying “I need Help,” but if you do, you can come. She added that if you want to help someone else, you can come and say “Hey, what’s up?”

At the end of the day, Gaga said the foundation is all about saying the power is in your hands. According to her, there is really sort of a focus on the victim but what she wanted to point out is that the victim and the bully are on the same playing field. She then asked how we say that you are both equal members of society and how do we not save just the victim but also the bully. Gaga said she wants the Born This Way Foundation to empower the youth of the world.

It is one of most iconic New Year’s Eve traditions and last night Lady Gaga led a galaxy of stars performing in Times Square to celebrate the New Year.   The kooky singer put on a stellar show in front of the one million revellers gathered in New York to welcome in 2012.  Gaga was joined by the likes of Justin Bieber, Pitbull, LMFAO, Florence and The Machine and The Band Perry who all took to the stage throughout the evening.

As ever the Born This Way singer did not disappoint and neither did her outfits with Gaga enjoying several wardrobe changes throughout the evening.  The 25-year-old singer joined New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to activate the New Year’s Eve ball drop.  Looking glittery as the orb itself, the singer was invited by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg to press the crystal button at 11:59 pm that triggered the descent of the 2012 New Year’s Eve Ball – a dazzling sphere 12 feet in diameter that weighs 11,875 pounds.  In addition, Lady Gaga and Mayor Michael Bloomberg shared a smooch in front of billions as they brought the New Year’s ball down to start 2012.  It was a delightful peck that provided the highlight of what was a bizarre sight, with the pop star in her sequined mask and the mayor in a sweater embroidered with the American flag.

Dick Clark, who has hosted his New Year’s Eve special since the 1970s, is again being helped this year by his protege Ryan Seacrest for the 40th anniversary of the show.  The ABC special has been expanded and now begins at 8pm, making the six-hour broadcast the longest ever.  Teen favourite Justin Bieber took to the stage alongside legendary guitar player Carlos Santana to perform the classic Beatles hit Let It Be.  The 17-year-old showed off his piano skills as he spoke about New Year’s resolutions but said what’s done is done.  Justin donned a bright red beanie a camel coloured coat a Burberry scarf and maroon jeans for the occasion for his performance.

After the celebrations were over Lady Gaga took to Twitter to talk about her experience.  She posted that she can’t even quite describe what that night felt like, sort of poetic madness, a dream come true, moments recalling a leather taking the subway.  She added that her new year’s resolution is to never be afraid to be kicked in the teeth noting let the blood and the bruises define your legacy.  Before the actual show Lady Gaga had treated those revellers who had arrived early to a rehearsal performance as she practiced her routine.  The shiny, bejeweled number was teamed with a pair of retro sunglasses and a side ponytail, with the 25-year-old singer appearing to recycle a look from earlier in December.

After ringing in the New Year in Time Square, the 25-year-old singer invited her famous friends back to her own restaurant in New York City.

The mother monster come up with another amazing performance on the UK X Factor show as she sang her fifth single Marry the Night appearing in a bizarre costume.  The X Factor has faced a flurry of complaints in the past over exceptionally raunchy performances from Christina Aguilera and Rihanna.

The pop sensation took to the stage on the results show to sing her new track with the opening lyrics sang from a confessional box.  As she emerged, it became clear that she was wearing a rather bizarre costume as she continued to sing in front of a large crucifix.  The 25-year-old was dressed as a decapitated corpse, appearing to carry her own head.

Typically, there was some de-robing half way through the song to titillate fans as she showed off her curves in fishnets and a black lace bodice.  Even as she finished the song, she was still clutching her own head, as Dermot O’Leary looked a little awkward while interviewing her.  The Grammy-winner was clearly excited about appearing on UK television, tweeting earlier in the day that she is so excited to perform Marry the Night on X Factor noting that she will sing her head off for England.  Gaga also tweeted that her latest single will officially impact radio next week thanking the stations that added it early.

Kitty Brucknell was the latest casualty, having landed in the bottom two with Misha B and voted off by Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos – saved only by mentor Louis Walsh.  However, she seems to have found a new bosom buddy in her idol Lady Gaga.  After the results show had ended, Gaga went running over to find Kitty before whisking her off to the dressing room for wine and offering a shoulder to cry on.  The pair is believed to have gossiped for at least half an hour, before the US star had to leave.

The megastar created a stir when she posted a sneak peak shot of a scene from her upcoming video for Marry the Night on Twitter after Thursday’s Bambi Awards in Wiesbaden, Germany.  It shows the singer in a hospital down flat out on a trolley with an IV drip going into her arm as two nurses wheel her down a corridor.  To accompany the picture, she wrote that it is not that she has been dishonest, it is just that she loathe reality.  She also wrote that this would be the longest video she has released to date adding that she will unveil the film still that night which is the beginning of the story she had never told of.

Fans immediately took to forums expressing their excitement at the tantalizing image.  One aficionado wrote asking if Gaga really have a sex change operation while another said that the picture is Gaga getting a sex change operation.  Gaga has been at the centre of sex change rumors since the camera captured what looked like male genitalia escape her skirt while she performed at Glastonbury in 2009.

The US pop singer collected four prizes at the MTV Europe Awards including awards for best song, best video, best female and biggest fans at the ceremony in the Odyssey Arena.  Receiving the award best song and video for her hit single “Born This Way,” the 25-year-old singer said that she knew that the song was very special when she wrote it and she just did not know when she first started out, how special fans would all be to her.  She added that the single is the most important song that she has ever written and the single most important album saying that she loves all the little monsters (her fans) to the end.  She wore several outlandish costumes, including an oversized silver dress topped off by a satellite dish hat.  Lady Gaga rivaled host Selena Gomez in her ability to change outfits and at one stage perched herself on a model of a moon.

Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber was among the other multiple winners, picking up best pop act and top male singer.  Los Angeles rockers Thirty Seconds to Mars won two awards namely best alternative act and best world stage, as did Bruno Mars, honored as the best new act and “push” artist who was promoted by MTV as an up-and-coming talent.  Katy Perry was voted best live act, Eminem won best hip-hop artist, repeating his 2010 success, and Linkin Park scooped best rock.  Queen received the global icon award, with band members Brian May and Roger Taylor picking up their honor on the night.  May said that they were there at the birth of MTV.  According to the band member, it is wonderful for them to be there 40 years later adding that there in Belfast which is finally showing its beauty and setting an example to the  world by finding, out of grief and tragedy, the beginnings of truth and peace.  More than 150 million MTV viewers voted and decided most of the categories.

At the same time as the main awards ceremony in the Odyssey Arena, Northern Ireland band Snow Patrol were playing a free gig to 15,000 people at City Hall, with Red Hot Chili Peppers performing at the Ulster Hall.  The ceremony opened with Coldplay performing Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall from their new album “Mylo Xyloto.”  LMFAO performed “Party Rock Anthem,” a high-octane disco hit that brought over 20 dancers to the stage where they strutted under tinsel “snow” that fell from the roof.  Lady Gaga sang “Marry the Night” from the top of a giant moon structure, and presenter and actress Hayden Panettiere was joined on stage by a naked man in a scripted appearance.  There was also a video tribute to late singer Amy Winehouse, who died in July aged 27.

Backstage after the show, Lady Gaga said she was overwhelmed by her haul of trophies.  She said that she never anticipated or perceived that anything will come easily to her adding that it is always a fight from the bottom up.

At the MTV Video Music Awards last fall, the monster fame singer has donned dress out of raw meat.  The dress has been one famous and controversial piece during the time.  The item is part of a new Women Who Rock exhibit at the Cleveland museum. Gaga went from rocking a rack of meat to having it preserved for the ages, literally. The hand-sewn meat dress is now more of a beef jerky dress.  Franc Fernandez designed this dress and Gaga was styled by Nicola Formichetti, which is her personal stylist.

The Argentinean slabs of tartare may have been barbeque-ready when Gaga put them on last September.  The singer modeled the dress when she accepted the Best Video of the Year (one of the eight awards she won on the night), “Bad Romance,” wearing it to proclaim, as she put it, she said that she is not a piece of meat.  She explained that it is certainly no disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian because according to her she is the most judgement-free human being on the earth.  She added that it however has many interpretations.  For her during that evening, if people do not stand up for what he/she believe in and fight for their rights pretty soon, they are going to have as much rights as the meat on their bones.  On that night, the singer jokingly said she never thought she would be asking Cher to hold her meat purse.

A post on NPR explains the process for preserving the meat dress:  The edible fashion statement was kept in a meat locker, placed in a vat of chemicals and then dried out by taxidermists in California before being transported to the museum.  To create the raw beef look, the dress was painted over to appear fresh, a process that took several months.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) issued a statement supposing that Gaga’s meat ensemble – dress, boots, purse, and hat – was likely hopping with little worms.  The group said that the meat is the decomposing flesh of a tormented animal who did not want to die and after hours in the TV lights, it would smell like the rotting flesh.  It is and likely be crawling in maggots, not too attractive, really.

In addition, PETA could be right, according to the laws of Science, once a fly lays an egg in a rotting carcass or a promising piece of flap meat the eggs hatch in the next eight o twenty hours if the weather is warm.  The chief scientific advisor for Grow Green Industries, Dr. Shawki Ibrahim, said that Maggot infestation can happen quickly on raw meat at room temperature and will develop faster with heat accelerated by being close to skin and under hot lights.  He added that the dress would definitely put her at an E.coli risk of she had a cut on her skin but otherwise it is just the stink factor.  For what it’s worth, no larvae were visible on the get-up, or else Cher likely would have dropped that purse while she held it for Gaga.

On October 21, New York’s Hit Music Station announced the Star-studded line-up  and guest presenters for the annual holiday concert Z100’s Jingle Ball 2011, presented by  Aeropostale which is going to take place on Friday, December 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Madison Square garden.  December 9, 2011 has been proclaimed as Z100 Jingle Ball Day in New York City as issued by Mayor Bloomberg.

Z100′s Jingle Ball 2011 will air on Fuse, the national music television network of The Madison Square Garden Company exclusively on December 18 at 7 p.m. ET. This will be the second year music fans across the country will have the opportunity to experience the highly anticipated annual event on television.

“A Decade of Difference,” the benefit concert celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the William J. Clinton Foundation as well as the former President’s 65th birthday, took place last Saturday Oct. 15 at 7pm PT at the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, California.  Among those who performed were Lady Gaga, R&B singer Usher, country star Kenny Chesney, Somali rapper K’Naan, Colombian crooner Juanes, rockers Bono and The Edge. The 42nd president of the United States, President Bill Clinton along with wife state secretary Hillary and daughter Chelsea was present in the event.  Former president, Clinton gets rid of his unhealthy diet and goes for a ‘Plant-based diet’ following two major heart operations.  He jokingly said to David Letterman on Wednesday night’s show about the envelope-pushing artist-Lady Gaga, “In deference to my diet, she’ll be going meatless that night.” Gaga infamously donned a dress made of raw meat at the MTV music Video Music Awards last year.  “She is the most talented person though — even if you’re an old fogey like me,” he added.  Clinton said in a statement Tuesday that he is “proud that some of today’s most influential performers are coming together to raise awareness about the work of my foundation.”  Ticket prices for the event range from $50 to $550.

The Edge and Bono made a surprise appearance to perform hits like ‘Desire,’ ‘I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,’ ‘Starring at the Sun,’ ‘One,’ and Sunday Bloody Sunday.’  Lady Gaga channeled Marilyn Monroe and incorporated ‘Happy Birthday into her single ‘Born This Way’ as a belated 65th birthday gift to the host.  Before Lady Gaga’s performace of ‘Bad Romance (Bill Romance),’ she told the crowd, “I’m 25 and just four years ago I was living in a teeny tiny apartment in New York, praying every day that just one person would believe in me. So I guess you can say that in some kind of weird and twisted New York kind of way, I love the American dream.  “It just takes one person to believe in you. So tonight I just thought we’d all get caught up in a little Bill romance.”  Stevie Wonder took the stage as well singing the classic ‘Sir Duke’ and ‘Superstitious.’  Universal’s Ron Meyer, Steve Bing, Ellen DeGeneres, Joni Mitchell, Jane Fonda and scores of other industry figures attended the event.

The backstage meeting of Lady Gaga and the Clintons has been a buzz in the cyber world.  The singer was caught in a conversation with former president Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton.  Chelsea shared the image on her Facebook page.  “A highlight of tonight was meeting Lady Gaga backstage,” she said. “Her combination of creativity, intelligence and activism are inspiring – and, yes, she’s even more remarkable on stage than on youtube.”

Lady Gaga has been tremendously famous for her outstanding music.  Its theme marks its distinction from other equally famous music.  A bunch of blasphemous songs that is obscene and spiritually offensive in nature.  Lady gaga is a pawn used by demons to influence the culture away from Christ.  The symbolisms that Lady gaga uses are so blatant that it suggests more of an occult meaning.

In her singles Judas, Alejandro, born this way and the likes, clearly you can hear and see the message of blasphemy and insult to Christ’s image.  In Gaga’s video of her song “Judas”, she plays the role of the repentant prostitute Mary Magdalene where she is in love with Jesus.  Additionally, a love triangle between Jesus, Judas and Mary Magdalene is portrayed in the video where in the end she will ultimately choose Judas.  The image of biker gangs representing the 12 disciples with Jesus in the lead is a cryptic way of portraying the image of Jesus Christ.  All of these ideas go completely against the basic truths of the Christian faith.

Asking Gaga about the video, she said, “This video is not meant to be an attack on religion. It is not meant to be an attack on anyone’s beliefs. I respect and love everybody’s beliefs….the song Judas is essentially me going back to an ex-boyfriend and still being in love with someone who has betrayed me….The video, in essence, suggests that forgiveness and betrayal are hand-in-hand.”

Though the song was written about relationships, one cannot hide the fact that there are misinterpretations in the lyrics and the depictions are offensive.   Like for this line shows, “Jesus is my Virtue, but Judas is the demon I cling too.”

Same with her single “Born this way,” which introduces the idea of a “new race” and a new world; Gaga uses a psychedelic approach to instill occult meanings in it.  The lyrics of the song are mainly about unconditional acceptance focusing on homosexuality but the video’s approach is far beyond the subject of sexual orientation.  It depicts the birth of a new race within humanity.  Gaga does not pertain to the birth of a human naturally, but the birth of humans with artificial provocation.   The birth is happening within the minds of the people with visual representation through weird facial horns.  Moreover, the cryptic imagery in the video suggests a world change occurring through alchemical process.

In spite that “Born this way” is new and innovative, it continues the themes exploited in the previous videos of Lady gaga.  “I wrote ['Born This Way'] in 10 f—ing minutes. And it is a completely magical message song. And after I wrote it, the gates just opened, and the songs kept coming. It was like an immaculate conception.”   This statement by Gaga supports the symbolism expressed in the video suggesting of a cosmic pregnancy without the need for sexual relation.  According to the directors, it suggests a race being born out of the existing race, from the people’s own mind.  Such symbolism may be hard to explain, but one thing is for sure, it is a thing from unnatural forces.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, or most popularly known as Lady Gaga, was born on March 28, 1986. She was the eldest among the children of an Internet marketer Joseph Germanotta and Cynthia Bissett. At a very young age, Lady Gaga showed intense passion to music. Her debut electro-pop single Just Dance immediately burned up the charts after its release in 2008. It even peaked at number one spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 list. The following single Poker Face was an even greater success, reaching number one in almost all major music markets in the world. It also won Best Dance Recording at the 52nd Grammy Awards. Gaga’s popularity has indeed ruled the music scene, as well as the world of fashion.

In May 2009, she became the cover girl for Rolling Stone, which featured a semi-nude Gaga wearing only strategically placed plastic bubbles. Gaga’s Grammy nominations and chart-topping hits flooded over time like an epidemic that infects everyone who hears it on radio. Her second studio album and third major release Born This Way is described as a marriage of electronic music with different music genre. Besides her music career, Gaga also has a passion in charitable deeds and humanitarian works. As a matter of fact, she has given major contribution in the fight against HIV and AIDS worldwide. On March 11, 2011, right after the news about the 9.0 magnitude earthquake in Japan spread like wildfire all over the world, Gaga tweeted a message with a link to Japan Prayer Bracelets, which she designed herself. One hundred percent of the money generated will go to Japan relief efforts. As of March 29, the bracelets have already raised approximately $1.5 million.
