Laura Liggett Linney is an American Actress, who was born on February 6, 1964 in Manhattan, to Miriam Anderson and Romulus Linney, a memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center worker and a playwright as well as a professor. Linney grew up living with her mother in a small apartment after her parents divorced. He ahs a half-sister named Susan, from the second marriage of his father. She graduated from the Northfield Mount Hermon School in year 1982. She subsequently entered the Northwestern University, before she transferred to Brown University, where she took acting together with Jim Barnhill and John Emigh and also served on the board of production Workshop, the university’s student theater group. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in year 1986 and then went to study at the Juilliard School.
