Leighton Meester has had an ongoing battle with her mom, Constance Meester.  Currently, the actress is even going through a stressful legal battle with her mother whom she accuses of using the money to buy frivolous things such as cosmetic surgery instead of spending the money on Leighton’s younger brother, Lex.

Now, Constance is attacking Leighton, yet again, blaming her for financially abandoning her and Lex.  In an exclusive interview with In Touch, she said that her car was taken away, her house has gone into default and they cannot afford food.  According to her, she only has $26 left and if something does not happen soon, they will be homeless by the holidays.  She also said that she just got blood work done and the doctors are pretty sure that she has lymphoma.  Constance said she knew that Leighton was going to be a star and she devoted her life to making sure that happened.  She also claimed that she worked as an exotic dancer to make ends meet which she never told Leighton.  The actress’s mother said that she was looking at homeless shelters the other night and Lex showed her photos he had found of a million dollar house she bought in LA and asked his mother how can she do that to them.

E! Online said that Connie gave up her life so that Leighton could make it in the business that is show. Connie moved her family to New York for Gossip Girl and then moved them back to Los Angeles all for Leighton’s career.  Like any good pimp, Connie kept track of all the cash she put out for acting classes and private schools, and says Leighton owes her $230,000. Connie went even harder by saying that she is legally a “dependent adult” due to a medical condition and is eligible for parental support. Because Leighton stopped paying Connie’s bills, her house fell into foreclosure and she does not have health insurance anymore.

Connie’s son and Leighton brother recently had brain surgery to get rid of a tumor, and she claims her daughter is trying to turn him against her. Connie says that Leighton threatened to stop paying his medical bills if he did not move to New York.  Connie is also trying to paint Leighton as a crazy cunt beast who brought the prison yard to the living room when she attacked her mother with a bottle last December.

The sad thing is that her mother has been known to have a past with drug use and has even been incarcerated on drug-related charges.  While Leighton did end their informal business relationship back in 2008, she still sent over $7,500 every month to help both her mother and her brother out.  It is sad that money has come between Leighton and her mother and it sounds like she has been willing to financially support her as long as she uses the money wisely.  Not sure of Leighton’s mom is trustworthy enough especially with her shady past.

Leighton Meester is an American actress and singer, who is most notable for the portrayal of Blair Waldorf in the TV series of Gossip Girl. She was born on April 9, 1986 in Forth Worth, Texas, to Constance and Douglas Meester. She was baptized with the real name of Leighton Marissa Meester. It was said that her last name stands for the words of master of teacher in Dutch. On the other hand, Meester spent most of her life in New York City and in Los Angeles as well. In addition, Meester grew up in Marco Island, Florida, where she got involved in productions at a local playhouse. At the young age of 11, Meester relocated to New York City, together with her mother. She then entered the Professional Children’s School and started to work as a model with Wilhelmina. Moreover, she made her film debut in an episode of the TV series of Law & Order. At the young age of 14, Meester relocated to Los Angeles, California and entered the Hollywood High School as well as the Beverly Hills High School. She then moved into a small private school.

After Meester made her TV debut in year 1999, portraying the role of Alyssa Turner in Law & Order, he appeared as a guest star in two more series before she had her break in the film called, Hangman’s Curse, which was originally based on the book of Frank Peretti. Meester then starred in the 2003 TV series of Tarzan, where she portrayed the role of Nicki Porter. The said series aired for only eight episodes. She subsequently began on appearing in some other series like in the TV drama series of Crossing Jordan and in 8 Simple Rules. She also appeared in 7th Heaven and Veronica Mars as well as in 24 and in Entourage. In year 2005, Meester became a regular cast in the TV series of Surface, where she portrayed the role of Savanah Bent.

On the following year, she appeared in the films of Inside and in Flourish, together with Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer as well as Ian Brennan. In year 2007, Meester was included in the casts of the teen drama series of Gossip Girl, where she portrayed the role of Blair Waldorf. On the other hand, Meester also appeared in the TV film of The Haunting of Sororoty Row and in the comedy-drama of Remember the Daze. In year 2008, Meester was featured in the thriller film of Killer Movie. In year 2010, Meester portrayed small roles in the comedy films of Date Night and in Going the Distance, which starred Drew Barrymore and Justin Long as well as Charlie Day. In year 2001, Meester appeared in the recently released film of Monte Carlo, which also starred Selena Gomez and Katie Cassidy.
