Mark Wahlberg is an American actor, who is most notable for the portrayal in the in the 1997 film of Boogie Nights and in the Three Kings. He was born on June 5, 1971 in Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachussetts, to Alma Elaine and Donald Edward Wahlberg, a bank clerk and a former delivery driver. Her mother and father divorced n year 1982. He has the combination of English, Swedish and French Canadian ancestry. He was born as a Roman Catholic upbringing. He entered the Copley High School, which is located on Newbury Street on Boston. On the other hand, Wahlberg earned much attention as the younger brother of Donnie Wahlberg of the boy band called, new Kids on the Block. At the young age of thirteen, Wahlberg had became one of the group’s original members, together with Donnie and Danny Wood as well as Jordan Knight and Jonathan Knight.
Wahlberg started his professional acting career, debuting in the 1993 TV film called, The Substitute. On the other hand, his film debut occurred when he was included in the casts of the 1994 comedy film entitled, Renaissance Man, where he portrayed the role of Private Tommy Lee Haywood, together with Danny De Vito and Gregory Hines as well as James Remar. He then appeared in the drama film entitled, The Basketball Diaries, where he portrayed the role of Mickey, alongside Leonardo DiCarpio and Lorraine Bracco as well as James Madio. However, the film was initially based on the book of Jim Caroll. In year 1996, Wahlberg also appeared in the thriller film called, Fear.
On the other hand, Wahlberg portrayed the role of Eddie Adams or Dirk Diggler in the drama film of Boogie Nights. In year 1999, he was included in the cast of the film of Three Kings, which also includes the stars of George Clooney and Ice Cube as well as Spike Jonze and Cliff Curtis. On the following year, he starred in the dramatic disaster film entitled, The Perfect Storm, where he portrayed the role of Robert “Billy” Tyne. In year 2006, Wahlberg was included in the casts of the crime thriller film of The Departed, where he portrayed the role of Staff Sergeant Sean Dignam, together with Leonard DiCarpio and Matt Damon.
In year 2009, Wahlberg appeared in the drama film called, The Lovely Bones, which also starred Rachel Weisz and Saorise Ronan as well as Rose Mclver. On the following year, he starred in three different films, the Date Night and The Other Guys as well as The Fighter, where he portrayed the role of Micky Ward. On the other hand, Wahlberg is set to appear in the upcoming film entitled, Contraband, and in the comedy film of Ted, where he will be portraying the role of John.
