Matthew Morrison is an American actor who was born on October 31m 1978 in Fort Ord, California, and was raised in the Orange County. Morrison, who has a Scottish heritage, has also entered the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and the Collaboraice Arts Project 21 (CAP21) as well as in the Orange County High School of the Arts, while he was still in the Los Alamitos High School campus. In addition, while Morrison was still in high school, he performed a musical together with the American actress Jodie Sweetin.

Morrison’s professional career started when he had his first musical theater on Boradway in the musical adaptation of Footloose, his appearance on the said musical play was followed by revival of the British horror comedy stage play called, The Rocky Horror Show, in year 2002. On the other hand, his break through role came when he portrayed the role of Link Larkin in the Broadway musical production of Hairspray.

After performing in various Broadway productions, Morrison started on appearing in some TV shows and also had an appearance in some of the TV series shows like, Ghost Whisperer, CSI Miami and Hack as well as in Numb3rs. He was also included in the casts of the films such as Music and Lyrics, Marci X, Primary Colors and in the film of Simply Funk. He then portrayed the role of Harry in the production of the ABC-TV called, Once Upon a Mattress, which also starred Tracey Ullman and Carol Burne

Matthew Morrison was enlisted to finish the group of the band called LMNT in year 2001 and was replaced then instead by Jonas Persch in the time their initial album was launched. On the following year, Morrision was included in the Original casts of the Musical play called Hairspray, where he portrayed the role of Link Larkin. He then portrayed the said role until the year of 2004.

In year 2005, Morrison portrayed the role of Fabrizo Nacarello in the musical called, The Light in the Piazza, where he garnered a Tony Nomination for his performance. However, Morrison left the show on August 2005. He then joined the casts of the soap opera of the CBS network entitled, As the World turns, where he portrayed the role of Adam Munson. In year 2008, he portrayed the role of Lt. Cable in the musical production of South Pacific and then left the show at the end of 2008. On the following year, he returned to California to shoot for the first season of the Musical drama series of Glee, where he portrayed the role of Will Schuester.

It was announced that Matthew Morrison signed a contract with the Mercury Records in January 2010. His very first studio album was released on May 2011. His first single called, Summer Rain, was featured on the official website of Ryan Seacrest on February 2011. He also had a duet with Gwyneth Paltrow for their own rendition of Over The Rainbow.
