Michael Cera is a Canadian actor, who is most notable for the portrayal in the TV series of Arrested Development and Youth in Revolt as well as in Superbad, was born on June 7, 1988 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, to Linda and Luigi Cera, a native of Quebec and a technician. Cera who was baptized with the real name of Michael Austin Cera, has an older sister named Jordan and a younger sister named Molly. Cera showed his interest when in it comes to acting after watching several times the science fiction comedy film of Ghostbuster, when he got sick with chicken pox at the young age of three. He attended The Second City Toronto, where he took the improvisation classes. Also, Cera entered the Conestoga Public School, Robert H. Lagerquist Senior Public School and Heart Lake Secondary School.

On the other hand, he was first landed for the role in one of the Tim Horton’s summer cam commercials, which ultimately led to a Pillsburry commercial, where he poked the Pillsburry Doughboy. His career started when he was included in the Canadian TV series called, I Was a Sixth Grade Allen on year 1999. He also portrayed the role of young Chuck Barris in the 2002 in the film called, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Also, he voiced for the role of Josh Spitz in the Canadian animated series of Braceface.

Cera subsequently portrayed the role of George Michael Blutin in the series show of Arrested Development. In year 2005, he starred in the in the award winning film of Darling Darling, where he portrayed the role of Harold. The film garnered him an award for the Best Actor at the San Gio Festival in Verona, Italy. In year 2006, Cera created and then starred in the parody of the Impossible in Nothing, which is a video resume that has been created by Aleksy Vayner.

Cera together with his best friend, Clark Duke, wrote and starred in the short videos released on their own website. In year 2007, both of them signed a deal with the CBS Television to write and produce, act and direct in a comedy series of Clark and Michael. Also, in year 2007, she appeared in the comedy of Drunk History, portraying the role of Alexander Hamilton in a comedic retelling for the Hamilton’s Duel together with Aaron Burr.

In year 2009, Cera published her first short story called, Pinecone. On the following year, Cera appeared in the film adaptation of the book called, Youth in Revolt, where he portrayed the lead role of Nick Twisp. He then portrayed the titular character in the adaptation of the book of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. On the other hand, Cera is set to appear in the upcoming film of Arrested Development.
