Neve Campbell is a Canadian actress, who is most notable for the portrayal in the TV series entitled, Party of Five. She was born on October 3, 1973 in Guelph, Ontario, to Marnie and Gerry Campbell, a yoga instructor and an immigrant from the East End of Glasgow, Scotland. On the other hand, Campbell is a Roman Catholic. However, she considered herself as a Jewish because of the reason that her mother has a Sephardic Jewish ancestry. In addition, Campbell has three brothers named, Christian, Alex and Damian. At the young age of two her parents got divorced. She then relocated into a house at the National Ballet School of Canada, performing for The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. At the age of 15, she changed her genre from dancing to acting, performing in the Canon Theater in Toronto for the production called, the Phantom of the Opera.
In year 19991, Campbell appeared in one of the commercials of Coca-Cola, which promoting the sponsorship of Bryan Adams’ 1991-1992 “Waking up the Nation”. On the other hand, Campbell made her first starring role in the Canadian TV series entitled, Catwalk, where she portrayed the role of Daisy from year 1992 to year 1994. She also had several appearances in the shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark and in Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. She then earned much prominence outside Canada after being included in the casts of the drama series called, party of Five, where she portrayed the role of Julia Salinger. She the portrayed the role of Bonnie in the supernatural teen horror film entitled, the Craft, which also includes the stars of Robin Tunney and Rachel True as well as Fairuza Balk and Christine Taylor.
In year 1996, Campbell appeared in the horror film of Scream, which has been directed by Wes Craven. In the film, Campbell portrayed the role of Sidney Prescott. Campbell’s portrayal for the film garnered her Saturn Award for the Best Actress. She has also received two Blockbuster Entertainment Awards for Favorite Actress-Horror, for her portrayal n Scream 2 and in Scream 3. She then appeared in the 1998 thriller film of Wild Things. In year 2000, Campbell starred together with William H. Macy ad Donald Sutherland in the film entitled, Panic.
In year 2002, she was included in the casts of the drama film of Last Call, where she portrayed the role of Frances Kroll. On the following year, Campbell starred together with James Franco and Malcolm McDowell in the film about the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago entitled, the Company. In year 2006, Campbell had her West End theatre debut. On the following year, she was included in People’s most beautiful people list. She then reprised her role as Sidney Prescott in the fourth sequel of the film of Scream, which has been released on April 2011.
