Nikki Reed is an American actress, who is most notable for the portrayal of Evie Zamora in the drama film entitled, Thirteen. She was born on May 17, 1988 in West Los Angeles, California, to Cheryl Houston and Seth Reed, a beautician and a set designer. She has a brother named Nathan August Reed. After appearing in the film of North, Reed made her return to Alexander Hamilton High School. However, she still left the school after only a year. It was said that her mother, who sneaking her into the school and harassing her about the film, was the reason why she left the said school. On the other hand, Reed had home schooling and successfully had her high school diploma.

Moreover, the script for the film of Thirteen had finished by the film director Catherine Hardwicke and Reed for a short period of time. It was said that the producers of the film asked Reed to be part of the casts because they found it hard for the stars to join the film. The film starred Evan Rachel Wood and received positive reviews from the viewers and critics. After the film, Reed appeared on the talk show called, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and presents various award shows, which also includes the Young Hollywood Awards in year 2003 as well as the Independent Spirit Awards Nomination Show, the 2004 West Independent Spirits Awards then followed it. In year 2005, Reed appeared in the film called, lords of Dogtown, where she portrayed the role of Kathy Alva.

On the following year, Reed also appeared in the TV series called, The O.C., where she portrayed the role of Sadie, which is the love interest of Ryan Atwood. In year 2007, she appeared as Shay Bettencourt in the film called, Cherry Crush. It was announced in year 2008 that Reed has been included as Rosalie Hale in the ensemble of the film adaptation of Twilight. On the following year, Reed portrayed the role in The Twilight Saga: New Moon. She then reprised the role in the 3 sequels of the film, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Part 2. In year 20029, she portryaed the role of Stefanie in the film entitled, Last Day Of Summer. On the following year, she starred in Chain Letter. She is also set to star in the upcoming film called, Catch .44, together with Bruce Willis.

In her personal life, Reed and the American Idol season 10 finalists, Paul McDonal met on the red carpet premiere of the fantasy film called, Red Riding Hood, in March 2011. The time they met has been broadcasted in an episode of the Idol show. The two then started on dating and later on lived together. In June 2011 Reed was captured wearing a look like engagement ring and later on confirmed that the two were engage. On the other hand, Reed and McDonald tied the knot on October 17, 2011 at an intimate ceremony together with their family and closest friends.

The 23-year-old Twilight star, Nikki Reed and the 27-year-old American Idol singer, Paul McDonald wed Oct. 16 at a private ranch in Malibu, California wherein the 100 guests in attendance were treated to a beautiful and intimate ceremony.  The bride walked down the aisle in a custom-made dress by Tacori dripping in diamonds.  The bridal jewelry brand was the same brand used in Nikki’s engagement ring, the couple’s wedding bonds and Nikki’s exquisite dress.  According to Tacori’s Michelle Adorjan, the unique collaboration resulted in an ivory, form-fitting gown with a 40’s classic glamour silhouette and flows back into a 72-inch train of about six feet.  Michelle added that while it sounds over-the-top, the dress is extremely simple.  The glamorous details are what Tacori brings to it and the most unique detailing can be found down the back of the dress in the form of 100 diamond buttons.  Spy Kids actress Alexa Vega served as bridesmaid and Paul’s band, along with fellowIdol alum Stefano Langone, played in the event.  The groom reportedly did sing a tune at his own wedding.

The couple said that they could not be happier since their family and friends surrounded them during that day.  They were so glad that their wedding day has come.  When asked if their wedding would be anything like Edward and Bella’s wedding, Nikki said it is absolutely not.  After disagreeing she said that they had a beautiful wedding but Paul and Nikki are just not Edward and Bella at all. So it is something a little more low key.  A day after the wedding the couple takes on to their Twitter accounts.  Reed said that yesterday was the most magical day of her life while McDonald tweeted quite the same saying yesterday was the most amazing day of his life, everything was perfect and his officially a married man.  Nikki also revealed to us that Paul is quite the romantic.  She said he really is into taking her on dates wherein he asks Nikki to go on a date.  She said that every time they have dinner, he takes all the pictures from around the house and sets up the table with all the pictures and candles and all the flowers.

The two began dating shortly after they met in March 2011 at the Little Red Riding Hood premiere. A quick trip down felt instantly right to Paul and Nikki.  The two dated for two months before getting engaged in June.  Paul explained that his parents are from the south so of course that was brought up but it is one of those things that everything fell into place, so it was just kind of meant to be.  Paul was also sure of his decisions in spite of everyone’s thinking that they are moving in such a fast pace.  He said that Nikki is amazing confessing that getting married was one of those things that he did not expect and he did not even thought of it a year ago confidently saying that he and Nikki fit each other.  He said that when you know, you know she is the one.
