Rashida Jones is an American actress, who is most notable for the portrayal of Louisa Fenn in the drama TV series of Boston Public. She was born in February 25, 1976 in Los Angeles, to Quincy Jones and Peggy Lipton. She has an older sister named, Kidada Jones and also has five half-siblings from the .relationships of his father. She entered the Hebrew School and was raised in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California. Jones also entered The Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California. At the young age of 14, Jones’ parents got divorced, her sister then stayed with their father while she relocated to Brentwood together with her mother.
On the other handm Jones had her professional acting debut in The Last Don, which is said to be a 1997 mini-series originally based on the book of Mario Puzo. She subsequently appeared in Myth America and in East of A as well as in the TV film called, If These Walls Could Talk 2. In year 2000, Jones portrayed the role of Karen Scarfoli in one of the episodes of the series show of Freeks and Geeks. She then had portrayed the role of Louisa Fenn in the American drama TV series entitled, Boston Public. She then had a small role in the film entitled, Full Frontal, which has been directed by Steven Soderbergh. She then starred in the comedy film of Now You Know, where she portrayed the role of Kerri. She also appeared together with Adam Brody in the short film called, Roadside Assistance.
Moreover, after Jones left the show of Boston Public, she appeared in the comedy film of Death of a Dynasty, where she portrayed the role of Layna Hudson. The said film was directed by Damon Dash. She also appeared in the two episodes of the Chappelle’s Show on Comedy Central. In year 2004, she was included in the casts of the film of Strip Search, which was directed by Sidney Lumet. However, it was said that her scenes has been cut from the final broadcast version. She subsequently portrayed the role of Dr. Rachel Keyes in the 2004 comedy film of Little Black Book. She then appeared as Edie Miller in the British Drama series of NY-LON. On the following year, she portrayed the role of Karen in the TV series entitled, Stella.
In year 2006, Jones was included in the casts of the TV series of The Office, portraying the role of Karen Filippelli. In year 2008, she starred together with Craig Bierko and Johnny Sneed as well as Shaun Majumber in the TV comedy of Unhitched. In year 2010, Jones had a small role in the film of Kevin Smith entitled, Cop Out. She then starred together with Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield in the film of The Social Network. On the other hand, Jones appeared together with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis in the 2011 film of Friends with Benefits.
