Reese Witherspoon revealed how she met her husband in an interview with Elle magazine.  Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth met when his drunken friend was hitting on her.  Jim Toth was actually the wingman in this situation.  The Legally Blonde star said a chance encounter with Jim Toth led to their romance and marriage last year.

The Water for Elephants actress revealed she was approached by an intoxicated man at a party before Jim intervened to save both Reese and his pal.  According to her, it happened out of the blue saying that this really drunk guy was hitting on her, making such an idiot of himself, yelling on her.  She remembers him asking her if she does not know him and she answering that she did not know him.  Jim came over and told her to please excuse his friend explaining that he has just broken up with someone.  Witherspoon said that Jim was a really good friend pulling him out of that situation adding that is just kind of who he is, a really good person.

Toth, a Hollywood agent whose clients include Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr, soon began dating Witherspoon who was single after the end of her relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal in late 2009.  Witherspoon exchanged vows with Toth last March at her lavish ranch in Ojai, California.  It was the actress’ second marriage having previously been wed Ryan Philippe, the father of her two children. Witherspoon told Elle magazine that her split from Phillippe was awful.  She said that she has to be honest with him saying she is a totally different person adding that she does not think she realized how little she was living since she was so consumed with trying to hold things together.

Reese, 35, who has two children Ava, 11 and Deacon, seven, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, also explained she loves Jim’s caring side.  According to her, Jim said that he is going to show her everyday what a good partner is as well as a good person.  She also remember him saying to her that he is going to take care of her and he is going to do it as much that she is going to get used to it and she asking him what he is talking about explaining she has never had anybody like that in her life.  The actress said that she used to be afraid to travel and afraid to leave her house, afraid to leave her kids or that something horrible was going to happen.  She also said that Jim surprised her adding that you do not know who you are going to end up with.  According to her, when she was 20, if someone would ask her, she would not have said Jim.

Reese Witherspoon is an American actress, who earned much prominence for the portrayal of Dani Trant in the 1991 drama film entitled, The Man in the Moon. She was born on March 22, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Betty and John Witherspoon, an otolaryngologist and a nursing professor in Vanderbilt University. She was baptized with the real named o Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon and was raised as an Episcopalian. She has the ancestry from the declaration of independence as her ancestor John Witherspoon, signed the United States Declaration of Independence. In addition, Witherspoon entered the middle school in Harding Academy as the Harpeth Hall School in Nashville, Tennessee, where she became a cheerleader. She has also entered the Stanford University, majored in English Literature. After one year, Witherspoon left the said university to pursue her career on acting.

In year 1991, Witherspoon portrayed the female lead role in the drama film called, the Man in the Moon, where she played the role of Dani Trant, together with Sam Waterston and Tess Harper as we;; as Gail Strickland. Her portrayal on the film, earned her a nomination for the Young Artist Award for the Best Young Actress. She then made her TV debut when she appeared in the TV film called, Wildflower, portraying the role of Ellie Perkins alongside Patricia Arquette. Also, in year 1993, Witherspoon earned a minor role in the drama film entitled, Jack the Bear, which starred Danny DeVito and Robert J. In year 2001, Witherspoon starred in the feature film called, Legally Blonde, where she portrayed the lead role of Elle Woods. She then starred in the 2002 romantic comedy film called, The Importance of Being Earnest, where she portrayed the role of Cecily Cardew. In year 2004, Witherspoon starred in the drama film entitled, Vanity Fair, where she portrayed the role Rebecca Sharp Crawley, together with Angelica Mandy. On the same year, she starred with Mark Ruffalo in the romantic comedy film of Just Like Heaven, where she portrayed the role of Elizabeth Masterson. In year 2007, Witherspoon starred in the drama film called, Rendition, where she portrayed the role of Isabella Fields El-Ibrahimi, together with Omar Metwally and Jake Gylenhaal. She then appeared as Kate in the 2008 romantic comedy film of Four Chritsmases, alongside Vince Vaughn. On the following year, Witherspoon lent her voice for the role of Susan Murphy/ Ginomica in the animated film of Monsters s. Aliens.
