Richard Coyle is an English actor, who was born on February 27, 1972 in Sheffield, England. Both of her mother and father were born Irish. On the other hand, he started his professional career when it comes to acting after a play working on a ferry entertainment passenger, where he was approached by a theatre director, saying that he has the talent and should go and pursue his acting career. Coyle graduated in Politics from the University of York in year 1994. He subsequently accepted into Bristol’s well respected Old Vic Theatre School, graduating in the year 1998. He then started on having an appearance in various TV shows as Lorna Doone, and as John Ridd as well as Evelyn Waugh’s wartime saga called, Sword of Honour. He also appeared in the film of Topsy-Turvy.
On the other hand, Coyle portrayed the role of Mr. Coxe in the 1999 BC version of the Wives and Daugters. In year 2000, Coyle had his break, appearing in the TV sitcom of Coupling, where he portrayed the role of Jeff Murdock. In year 2003, he come up into a decision on not to return on the fourth season of the said show. Moreover, Coyle also starred in the BBC’s short-lived show called, Strange, from the year 2002 up to the year 2003. He then had a role in the films of Human Traffic and Franklyn as we;; as in the film called, A Good Year, where he portrayed the role of Amis, together with the stars of Russell Crowe and Albert Finney as well as Marion Cotilard and Abbie Cornish.
Furthermore, Coyle also had an appearance in the special episode of the Cracker: Nine Eleven in year 2006. In year 2004, he portrayed the role of Alcock in the film entitled The Libertine, which also includes the star of Johnny Depp. He then appeared in the 2010 film of Mike Newell entitled, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, where he portrayed the role of the older brother of the character being portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal. On the other hand, Coyle was also included in the casts of the film called, Georgia, which has been renamed to 5 Days of War. The film was about the 2008 war between Russia and Georgia. Nevertheless, Coyle has recently finished on filming the upcoming monster film of Grabbers, which also starred Ruth Bradley and Russel Tovey. The film is set to hit the big screen in year 2012. N addition, Coyle is currently be seen as Frank in the English language remake of Nicolas Winding Refn’s1996 cult classic called, Pusher, which started on filming in East London on MAY 2011. The said film has been directed by the film director, Luis Prieto.
