It has been one of the most highly anticipated and hyped red-carpet events of the year, with fans camping out for days to get a glimpse of the movie idols.  Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson certainly did not disappoint as they made a stunning arrival for the world premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 in Los Angeles this evening.

The 21-year-old actress wowed the crowd in a daring purple sequinned gown by J Mendel slit to the thigh, which showed off her never-ending legs.  Kristen and Robert, 25, arrived at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live together.  The co-stars and real-life couple, who play lovers Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in the film, posed for the cameras with their arms wrapped tightly around one another.  Kristen paired her risque look with some black suede peeptoe platform pumps and wore her dark brunette locks hair in a messy updo while her eyes were made-up with a sultry smoky shadow.

However, when signing autographs for the fans, Kristen slipped into a pair of comfortable trainers to spare her feet.  Robert looked handsome in a charcoal slimline suit paired with a light-grey shirt and skinny black tie.  Speaking about the wedding scene, Kristen told reporters on the red carpet that it felt quite natural to her when on set.  She said that she did not really think about it, to be honest.  According to her, the last way you remember something you have been building to for years is just actor-y, weird choices and neurotic weirdness adding that she remember things for the genuine experience and that is rare.

Rob had bigger concerns for this movie though which is getting in shape for his shirtless scenes.  Asked about the pressure, he quipped that pressure only in that I had to be in shape for the first time in this whole series.

Meanwhile, one of the other film’s female leads, Ashley Greene, drew gasps from the crowd by stepping onto the ‘black carpet’ in a strapless red tulle confection by Donna Karan, which complemented her stunning alabaster complexion and chestnut locks.  The actress, who plays Alice Cullen in the film, finished off the look with lashings of red lipstick and her fingernails painted with Scarlett vanish, keeping with the apparent ‘blood’ theme.

Her co-star Nikki Reed, 23, almost gave her a run for her money looking every inch the Grecian goddess in a gorgeous green one-shouldered silk gown with beaded trim.  The newlywed was without her new husband Paul McDonald, whom she married just last month in Malibu.  She also plays one of Edward Cullen’s sisters Rosalie Hale.

The first Twilight male lead to arrive was Kellan Lutz, who looked handsome in a stylish all black ensemble.  The 26-year-old arrived on the arm of his new girlfriend, Australian actress Sharni Vinson, who looked stunning in a halterneck red gown and had had the bottom part of her brunette locks dyed red especially for the occasion.   Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt struck some sultry poses on the black carpet, showing off her curves in a corseted green satin shift dress.  The 32-year-old actress paired the look with some silver platform sandals and wore her long brunette hair in a blown-out wave.

Twilight fans have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming Twilight Breaking Dawn film because of the big wedding event happening in the film and the most anticipated sex scenes of Edward and Bella.  Kristen Stewart said she was shocked when she filmed those honeymoon scenes.  According to her, there are two big sex scenes in the two films and she claimed that they did it fairly well.  She said it was so weird that it did not even feel like they are doing a scene with a Twilight film.  She said that it was very surreal.  The scenes were so graphic that the MPAA originally gave the film an R rating, but since nobody who likes Twilight is over the age of 17 that is probably a horrible marketing strategy.

Robert Pattinson said there are actually no love making scenes in the book.  He said that it is funny that people talk about sex scenes in the book but there are not actually any and it is all in people’s imagination.  He said that they are like it is so hardcore but it always fade to black.  According to him, it just shows bits of the aftermath.

These love scenes are apparently kind of violent, because she’s human and he’s vampire or whatever and every time he comes close to her he actually wants to kill her. In any other geared-at-children movie this would send every parent, church and school in America to burn down the MPAA, but because Robert Pattinson is so hot, probably that makes it okay.

Pattinson just wants to scene to live up to the hype.  He said that they have to show something and they cannot face to black in the movie because people would go insane continuing that it is strange trying to do a singular event, which everyone is expecting.  He said that at the end of the day, watching other people have sex is never going to be that spectacular.  The actor was hoping that it will be good and will live up to the hype there is.

In real life, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson is a real life are-they-aren’t-they couple and aside from the one time, Kristen accidentally referred to her “English Boyfriend” she likes not to reveal anything about her personal life.  She said that people can say whatever they want but when it is personal to you, it is like your life becomes a product and she said she is repelled by that.  According to her, she does not like to give away gems that people are going to get a feast out of so she would always just shrug it off.  In fact, she said that she always find it kind of funny and not just with Rob.

At a press conference in Stockholm, Sweden today, Robert Pattinson who is touring Europe alongside Ashley Greene in order to promote Breaking Dawn joked with reporters about the film’s wildly anticipated wedding ceremony.  He said that the wedding scene was funny because they used a real priest so technically they are already married because he did all the things you would do in a normal ceremony.

There is no hiding the fact that Rob Pattinson is a chain smoker.  There are times on the set that he even chain smokes.  Breaking the Dawn, Part 1 actor Guri Weinberg playing the role of Stefan tells a hilarious story about the “Twilight” vampire.  Rob’s girlfriend, Kristen Stewart is also a heavy smoker.  Guri Weinberg is a self-confessed smoker but is on a pursuit of weaning from it.  It will be very difficult for any chain smoker to quit abruptly from their vice, so as to Weinberg.  “I have fallen off the non-smoking wagon so many times in my life that it may ALWAYS seem like a process. For anyone contemplating smoking – just slap yourself for me.”  “And, you know, you miss it. More accurately, you miss the social aspects.”  Having Cigarette breaks with Rob, Weinberg discusses his experience about it.

“On Breaking Dawn, I would generally find Rob Pattinson already smoking when I’d go outside to sneak a few puffs in.  We would generally start chatting about whatever, he’d get fired up about whatever we were discussing and he would then generally finish his cigarette and ask for one of mine.  He’d light another one and we’d keep talking. Then I’d light another one. We would chain smoke if there was a long enough break on set.  I hate to say that’s how we got to know each other but that’s how we got to know each other.  As shooting went on, I was smoking a LOT. Getting sick, looking tired, yada, yada, yada. So, I started my daily rant that my wife is ALL too familiar with through many attempts to quit – ‘I gotta stop smoking.”

“Rob looks at me and says, ‘You know, I heard that if you quit before you’re 30 you’re in the clear, health-wise.  Since I am passed 30, that doesn’t seem too good. ‘Hey, Rob. I’m over 30.  He just looks at me totally non-plussed. I know,’ [he says.]  Silence. I’m waiting for the “but”…it’s not coming.  Well, aren’t you just a ray of sunshine. Do me a favor, Go f*** yourself.  He’s laughing hard now. He keeps trying to talk but he’s laughing too hard. Feigning intense indignation, I get up to go to my room.  Listen, man. I gotta go. Costco has a sale on caskets right now and obviously it’s a matter of minutes AT MY AGE.”  “Now, he’s having trouble breathing, he’s laughing so hard. But, I’m still thinking…man…I have been smoking for way too long,” he says.

Landing at the top of Glamour UK magazine’s lists of 50 Sexiest Men on October 5, Robert Pattinson made it three times in a row.  The twilight star has a stiff competition with co-star Taylor Lautner who landed at the second spot.  Among those who made it in the top five are the Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp, Soccer star David Beckham and High School Musical Actor Zac Efron.  The votes of over 40,000 readers of the magazine were tallied to come up with the most talked about list of the season.  The editor of the said magazine, Jo Elvin stated, “Over 40,000 Glamour readers cast their votes in the most hotly contested list of the year.”

He added, “And while the ‘Twilight Saga’ men continue to dominate our Sexiest Men list, Glamour readers have shown they have eclectic tastes to say the least – from silver fox, 50-year-old George Clooney, to a barely legal Justin Bieber. What could it all mean? Don’t think, just enjoy.”

Completing the top 10 are Scottish actor Gerard Butler, ‘True Blood’ hunk Alexander Skarsgard, Tron’s Garrett Hedlund, Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill and Britain’s Prince Harry.  Other notable inclusions in the list are Michael Fassbender at number 31, Australian siblings Liam and Chris Hemsworth at 36 and 37 respectively and ‘Real Steel’ star Hugh Jackman in the 50th place.

Robert Pattinson is all set to woo the audience with the next installment of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn. Currently he and co-star Kristen Stewart are promoting the film across the world.  In this final installment, the much awaited bed scene is to be revealed.  While twilight has made Robert Pattinson a big name in the industry and a hot sensation among ladies, Pattinson started accepting more adult roles.  He recently appeared in “Water for Elephants” with Reese Witherspoon. The 25-year old English actor and model was born on May 13, 1986 in London to Claire and Richard. He was baptized with the name of Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson and has two elders, the American singer, Lizzy Pattinson and Victoria Pattinson. He entered the Tower House School until the age of 12 and after that, he attended the Harrodian School. He showed some passion in amateur theater at the Barnes Theater Company.
