The “Sex and the City” star will take over the role of feminist Gloria Steinem in the movie about real-life adult film star Linda Lovelace following Demi’s decision to pull out in the wake of her hospitalization earlier this week. She is said to have dropped out of the film the day after the 911 incident, and will take the necessary amount of time needed to recuperate from her illness as well as recover from her messy split from ex-husband Ashton Kutcher.

Moore was rushed to the hospital on Monday, January 23, 2012 and allegedly treated for exhaustion after suffering a seizure while partying at her home. Demi, who is in the process of divorcing her husband Ashton Kutcher, has been alleged to be suffering from anorexia and substance abuse issues. Asthon Kutcher’s ex-wife also made headlines after media reported she was spotted at a club with daughter Rumer, dancing on tables and having tons of fun.

Parker, 49, officially signed up to the project on Friday and joins new cast member Chloe Sevigny who has agreed to play the part of a journalist tasked with finding out the real story of Linda’s life. There have also been reports that another Parker – Weeds star Mary-Louise – would take on the role of Steinem. James Franco portrays Hugh Hefner and Amanda Seyfried portrays the adult film star Linda Lovelace. Lovelace appeared in the 1972“Deep Throat,” that is still considered to be one of the world’s most infamous pornographic films. Lovelace, the film, started production in December 2011 is slated for release later this year.

The film has been riddled with casting changes and problems from the very beginning. Lindsay Lohan was initially meant to star as the late porn icon Linda Lovelace star of the mainstream-succesful 1972 film, Deep Throat. She was later replaced by In Time actress Amanda Seyfried. Seyfriend, 26, recently spoke about her preparation for the risqué role. She told ABCnews.com that it is going to be really hard and kind of terrifying at the same time. She added that she do have some liberties there but she is playing someone that existed in history and had quite an established reputation for something very extreme.

Last month Amanda was spotted filming on location in Los Angeles and looked almost unrecognizable as she slipped on the brown wig to channel infamous adult film star. James Franco will play infamous Playboy head honcho Hugh Hefner. Other stars involved in the project include Peter Sarsgaard, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple and Hank Azaria. “Lovelace” is the story of the late Linda Lovelace, the 1970s porn icon known for her role in the adult film “Deep Throat”. After making several porn films, Linda later became a prominent supporter of the anti-pornography movement, claiming that she had been forced into pornography by her then husband Chuck Traynor. “Lovelace” is being directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, whose credits include “Howl” and “The Celluloid Closet.”

Last week, the “Sex and the City” star has adopted a baby girl and named her as Gemma Rose, Something that is familiar to the star.  Kristin’s “Sex and the City” character, Charlotte York Goldenblatt together with husband Harry Goldenblatt actually adopted their first child, Lily from China.  Kristin Davis, 46, said in a statement about her adoption in America’s People Magazine, “This is something I have wanted for a very long time,” the actress told the mag. “Having this wish come true is even more gratifying than I ever had imagined. I feel so blessed.”  Reportedly, Davis’ adopted her daughter through a domestic adoption process several months ago.  Being the global ambassador for Oxfam and a patron for David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Davis will be seen next in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.  Kristin Davis is currently single and there were no issues of men being linked to her as of the moment.  Last year, Kristin left a statement in the US Weekly saying, “You have to obviously think it through. Best case scenario, you’re obviously raising it with a father. It does give me pause to think about doing it alone. I feel like it’s a really hard job.”

Kristin’s action got some plenty of reactions from fans and even from “SATC” co-stars including Sarah Jessica Parker.  When asked about the name of the child, which happens to be the same name of Kristin’s fictional baby on their series, Parker smiled and said, “That occurred to me, but it’s a beautiful old-fashioned name, and Kristin is a really old fashioned girl.”  Sarah Jessica added, “She’s a southern-raised kind of… She has a real traditional streak, so I think it’s a beautiful name… It’s nice.”

Being a longtime co-star and friend, Sarah Jessica still does not have a glimpse of Kristin’s baby.  “She lives in Los Angeles and I live here in New York, so I’ve not met her baby yet, but I’m so happy for her and I just could not be happier for Kristin. It’s a wonderful situation. I know she’s wanted to have a family for a long time and she deserves that unique kind of happiness that children bring and I’m so happy for her.”

Sarah Jessica is currently busy with the new season of her series “Work of Art,” which premieres October 12 at 9/8 C on Bravo.  “I’m really excited,” Sarah Jessica said about the return of her show, a reality TV competition series, based around emerging artists. “I’m still kind of in disbelief that we found a home for a show about art, because it was not necessarily something that people cottoned to immediately.  “I’m so thrilled that we got to have a second season,” she added.  SJP herself has three children with husband Matthew Broderick. The couple had their first son James Wilkie in late October 2002, and they welcomed their twin daughters, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, through a surrogate in June 2009.

In year 1984 up to year 1991, Parker has been liked with his fellow actor, Robert Downey, Jr. the former couple met on the set of the film entitled, Fitsborn, but Downey had suffered into Drug problem which also affected their relationship. On May 1997, Parker tied the knot together with the actor, Matthew Broderick.
