Sharon Stone is not just an actress but a film producer and a fashion model as well. She earned wide recognition for her portrayal of Catherine Tramell in the 1992 thriller film entitled, Basic Instinct, which brought her a  nomination for the Academy Award for the Best Actress. Stone was born on March 10, 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to Dorothy and Joseph William Stone II, an accountant and a factory worker. in addition, Stone was baptized with the real name of Sharon Vonne Stone and had entered the Saegertown Hugh School, which is located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania. She also attended the Edinboro State University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with creative writing and fine arts degree. Stone is best describes as a smart girl and a girl who loves to read. She initially considered herself as a lawyer. Having a natural beauty and skinny curve, Stone was crowned as Miss Crawford County in Meadville and was also one of the contingents for Miss Pennsylvania. In year 1977, Stone moved in New Jersey, where she lived together with her aunt. After only four days, Stone signed on with the Ford Modeling Agency in New York.

On the other hand, while Stone lives in New York, she made a decision to leave the field of modeling and make a new start as an actress. She then headed back to New York and became an extra in one of the films of Woody Allen. While Stone was currently on the audition, she met Michelle Pfeiffer, an actress, and the one who recognized her in one of the pageants she had joined. The then eventually became friends. On her film career, Stone made her film debut in the 1980 film of Woody Allen entitled, Stardust Memories, where she portrayed the role of the Pretty girl on train. On the following year, she was included in the casts of the horror film of Deadly Blessing, which has been directed b Wes Craven. She then collaborated with the film director Charles Shyer and with the tsars of Ryan O’Neal, Shelly Long and Drew Barrymore in the 1984 comedy-drama film called, Irreconcilable Differences. On the same year, she tied the knot with the film director and producer, Michael Greenburg. However, after three years of marriage, the two separated and was announced as officially divorced in year 1990.

Moreover, in year 1990, Stone had her first big break, when she was included in the casts of the film called, Total Recall, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Rachel Ticotin. As the film releases, Stone posed nude for the renowned Playboy magazine, which showed her muscle she barely developed when she was preparing for the said film. After five year, Stone finally earned a star in Hollywood walk of fame and was also picked by the Empire film magazine as one of the sexiest stars in film history. Also, in year 1995, Stone was garnered a Golden Globe Award for the best Actress in a Dramatic Motion Picture for her portrayal in the crime film called, Casino, where she portrayed the role of Ginger McKenna Rothstein. She was also included in the ensemble of the thriller film entitled, Cold Creek Manor, which also includes Dennis Quaid. She also teamed up with Halle Berry in the superhero film in year 2004 called, Catwoman. After many years of proceedings, the second sequel of Basic Instinct has been released titled, Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction. However, it was said that the reason on the late releasing of the film was Stone’s argument with the filmmakers over the nudity in the film. In year 2010, it was announced that she will be joining the casts of the TV series of Law & order: Special Victims Unit for their four-episode arc, which initially begun in April of the same year.
