Val Kilmer is an American actor, who is most notable for the portrayal in the comedy film entitled, Top Secret and in the 1985 classic film of Real Genius. Kilmer was born on December 31, 1959 in Los Angeles, California, to Gladys and Eugene Kilmer. Kilmer was baptized with the real name of Val Edward Kilmer and has the combination of Swedish and Irish as well as Cherokee descent. In addition, Kilmer grew up in the San Fernando Valley together with hi two siblings, his older brother named Mark and his young brother named Wesley. On the other hand, he attended the Chatsworth High School as the Hollywood’s Professional’s School. Kilmer also entered the Berkely Hall School, which is said to be a Christian Science school in Los Angeles. At the young age of 17, he became the youngest person who has been accepted into Juilliard’s drama program.

In year 1981, he co-authored and starred in the play called, How It All Began, which was held at the Public Theatre at the New York Shakespeare Festival. On the other hand, his big break occurred when he earned top billing in the poof comedy called, Top Secret, where he portrayed the role of an American rock and roll star. In year 1985, Kilmer also starred in the comedy film of real Genius. He also appeared in the TV films of The Murders in the Rue Morgue and in The Man Who Broke 1,000 Chains. He then appears as Madmartigan in the fantasy film of Willow. In ear 1993, he portrayed the role of Doc Holliday in the western film of Tombstone, together with the star of Kurt Russell. In year 1996, Kilmer also appeared in the film of Dead Girl and also starred together with Michael Douglas in the thriller film entitled, The Ghost and the Darkness.

In year 1998, he voiced for a role in the animates film of The Prince of Egypt and on the following year, he appeared in the film of Joe the King. Moreover, Kilmer was included in the casts of the 2000 film of Red Planet and also had a supporting role in the film of Pallock. In year 2002, Kilmer starred in the thriller film of The Saltton Sea. On the following year, he starred together with Kate Bosworth in the film of Wonderland and in The Missing.  On the other hand, in year 2005, Kilmer appeared with Robert Downey, Jr. in the film called, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. In year 2008, she also appeared with Stephen Dorff in the film of Felon. In year 2010, he starred in the horror film of The Traveler as well as in MacGruber.
