Vanessa Hudgens who was baptized as Vanessa Ann Hudgens was born on December 14, 1988 at the Salinas, California to Gina and Gregory Hudgens. The 22 year old Hollywood actress was raised as a Roman Catholic and has a younger sister name Stella Hudgens who is also an actress.

In year 2003 Vanessa Hudgens portrayed a supporting role for the independent drama film of ‘Thirteen’ wherein she portrayed the character of Noel, companion of the lead role which is being portrayed by Evan Rachel Wood. The said film was significantly successful, it also received positive reviews and its earnings have exceeded on its $4 Million budget. Hudgens was also appeared in the 2004 sci-fi film of Thunderbirds but unluckily the said film did not reached the taste of the viewers and it even received poor reviews. In year 2005, Hudgens appeared in the TV shows like Quintuplets and Still Standing as well as The Brothers Garcia, Drake & Josh and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

On September 2007, several photos of Hudgens have spread online; one of the said pictures showed her wearing lingerie and the other one was a photo of her without any clothes wearing. A statement from her publicist has been released and it affirmed that the said pictures were taken in private but unfortunately it was publicized through the internet. However, Hudgens apologized for the said controversy.

Hudgens was rumored to her High School Musical co-star Zack Efron. Hudgens and Zack met in year 2005 in the shoot of the first sequel of the High School Musical film. They had an affair that lasted for almost two years but sadly, the former couple ended their relationship in 2010. Hudgens and Efron have being paired together in the audition course of the said film. They received the part because the former couple has a great appeal.
