Vincent Anthony “Vince” Vaughn is an American actor-comedian, screenwriter and producer, who is most notable for the portrayal in the 1996 film of Swingers. He was born on March 28, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Sharon Eileen and Vernon Lindsay Vaughn, areal-estate agent and a salesman for a toy company. However, his parents parted ways in year 1991. In addition, Vaughn has two sisters named, Victoria and Valeri. Vaughn was raised as a Protestant and a Catholic, by his mother, who is a catholic and by his father, who is a protestant. Vaughn has the combinations of English, Irish and German as well as Lebanese and Italian ancestry.
On the other hand, Vaughn grew up on Buffalo Grove, Illinois, where he played the sports of football and baseball as well as wrestling. He then relocated to Lake Forest, Illinois, wehre he graduated at the Lake Forest High School in year 1988. Moreover, Vaughn was introduced to musical theater at a young age and made a decision to be an actor in year 1987. O the following year, his professional career stared, appearing as one of the casts of the Chevrolet commercial and then he relocated to Hollywood, even though he appeared I the TV series show of China Beach and in the three CBS Schoolbreak Specials in year 1990.
Furthermore, his first film role was in the American sports film of Rudy, where he portrayed a small role of Jamie O’Hare. He subsequently appeared in the series of the 77 Sunset Strip. However it was said that the series come to an end after the initial testing. In year 1996, Vaughn portrayed the lead role of Trent Walker in the comedy-drama film called, Swingers, together with Jon Favreau. The film was released on July 1996, which turned to be a successful independent film. Moreover, the film director Steven Spielberg included him in the ensemble of the box office hit film of The Lost World: Jurassic Park. As a result, Vaughn then appeared in several films, including the 1998 remake of Psycho, where he portrayed the role of Norman Bates.
In year 2000, Vaughn portrayed the lead role Special Agent Peter Novak, alongside Jennifer Lopez. On the following year, he appeared in the film of Jon Favreau entitled, Made. On the same year, Vaughn was included in the casts of the film of South of Heaven, West of Hell. In year 2005, he appeared in three different films, Be Cool, Thumbsucker and in the romantic action comedy film of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, which starred Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. In year 2007, he starred together with Paul Giamatti and Miranda Richardson in the film of Fred Claus. On the other hand, Vaughn portrayed the lead role of Malin Akerman in the comedy film of Couples Retreat. I addition, Vaughn has recently appeared in the 2011 comedy film of the Dilemma, which has been released in January 2011.
