Will Arnett’s Biography and PicturesWill Arnett is a Canadian actor and comedian, who earned much fame for his portrayal of George Oscar Bluth II in the TV series of Fox network called, Arrested Development. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on May 4, 1970. He is the son of Edith Alexander and Emerson James Arnett. He was baptized with the real name of William Emerson ‘Will’ Arnett. He entered the Lakefield College School in Lakefield, Ontario. As a teenager, Arnett was always involved in various troubles. As a result, Arnett was advised on not to return on Lakefield school. He subsequently entered the Subway Academy II, where he took theatre classes at the Tarragon Theatre. He then graduated at the Leaside High School. On the other hand, Arnett also entered the Concordia University but left after a semester. When Arnett was on his teenage years, his mother convinced him to pursue acting. After that, Arnett started in attending various auditions, including commercials in Toronto. When he reached the age of 20, after realizing that he really enjoyed the field of acting, Arnett relocated to New York City, where he entered the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.

Subsequently, Arnett started to perform on stage with various plays in New York. On the other hand, Arnett’s first acting job was in the independent film of Felicity Huffman entitled, Erie. After that, Arnett started on appearing and performing in various TV pilots. Arnett then appeared in the 1999 film called, Southie, where he collaborated with the film director John Shea and with the stars of Donnie Wahlberg and Rose McGowan. On the same year, he was included in the ensemble of the NBC sitcom called, The Mike O’Malley Show, where he portrayed the role of Jimmy. However, after only two episodes, the show has been pulled out. He then considered the year 2000 as his darkest year because of the reason that Arnett did not get lot of work or offers as well he then became an alcoholic person. On summer of the same year, a good friend of him helped him on fight with his alcohol problem. He subsequently started to revitalize his career. Eventually, on the following year, Arnett earned a spot in the CBS TV pilot called, Loomis, which starred Cheri Oteri.

His career then officially back on track, appearing on another pilot entitled, Still Standing. In year 2003, Arnett’s big break came, when he was included in the TV series called, Arrested Development, where he portrayed the role of George Oscar ‘Gob’ Blut II, along with the other stars like Jason Bateman, Michael Cera and Portia de Rossi. After his portrayal on the said series, Arnett appeared in the some of the episodes of TV series of The Sopranos. Moreover, Arnett teamed up with the film director Bob Odenkirk for his first starring role with the film entitled, Let’s Go to Prison, where he portrayed the lead role of Nelson, alongside Dax Shepard. In year 2007, was included in the ensemble of various films like, Blades of Glory, Grindhouse, On Broadway and in Ratatouille as well as in the Brothers Solomon and in The Comebacks.

Arnett on the other hand, lent his voice for the role of Vlad Vladikoff in the 2008 animated film of Horton Hears a Who!. On the same year, he appeared in the films of Semi-Pro and The Rocker, where he portrayed the roles of Lou Redwood and Lex, respectively.  In year 2009, he voiced the role of The Missing Link in the animated film of Monsters vs. Aliens. On the other hand, Arnett was also included in the ensemble of the 2010 romantic comedy film called, When in Rome, where he portrayed one of the lead roles, Antonio, together with Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel. He then included as series regular in the TV series called, Up All Night, where he portrays the role of Chris.
