The 30-year-old American actor and recording artist, was born on September 29, 1980 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Susy and Darell Pugh. Levi, who was baptized with the name of Zachary Levi Pugh, is the middle child between hi two sisters named, Sarah and Shekina and has Wlsh ancestry. When he was still a child, he and together with his family moved across the country before having their final move in Ventura, California, where he entered the Buena High School for four years. At the young age of six, Zachary started on acting in theater, portraying the major roles in some regional productions like the Grease, the Wizard of Oz and the Outsiders, which took place in the Simi Valley Cultural Arts center.
Levi made his first appearance in the TV film of FX entitled. Big Shot: Confessions of a Campus Bookie. He then portrayed the role of Kipp Steadman on the sitcom of ABC Network called, Less Than Perfect. He was also included in the casts of the ABC TV film of See Jane Date, he then starred in the series show called, Chuck, which recently finished its fourth season. On the other hand, he and his co star Yvonne Strahovski, earned nomination for the Best Action Actor and Actress Choice TV series for the Teen Choice Awards in year 2010, where the two won and presented.
In year 2008, Levi was included in the Entertainment Weekly’s list for Top Thirty People under Thirty. He subsequently starred in the film of Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, where he portrayed the roe of the cousin of the Chipmunks, Toby Seville. He also starred together with the recording artist Mandy Moore in the Disney animated film called, Tangled, where he voiced for the character of Flynn Rider. The film is initially based on the well known fairy tale Rapunzel. In addition, Levi narrated the 2011 movie called, Under the Broadwalk: The Monopoly Story, which is said to be a film documentary about the game of Monopoly.
In his personal life, Levi Zachary dated the American singer and actress in year 2008 up to year 2010. In addition, Levi is an Evangelical Christian since childhood. In year 2010, he started his own company called, The Neird Machine. He was also chosen to be one f the participants in the Celebrity All Star Game at the NBA All Star Weekend in year 2011 at Los Angeles. He also played for the team that has being coached by Magic Johnson. Levi was also featured in one of the single of the American Idol season five runner up Katherine McPhee, the cong entitled, Terrified, which has been released on April 2010. However, the original album version of the song featured the songwriter Jason Reeves.
