Logan Lerman is an American actor, who is most notable for the portrayal in the 2010 film of Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, was born on January 19, 1992 in Beverly Hills California, to Lisa and Larry Lerman, a manager and a businessman. Lerman has two siblings named Lindsey and Lucas. Lerman, who is a Jewish, graduated at Beverly Hills High. He was baptized with the real name of Logan Wade Lerman and grew up in a stable family. In year 2010, he applied to take creative writing at the New York University but has canceled his attendance.

His professional career started in year 1990s, appearing in various commercials on TV. He debuted in film industry in year 2000, when he was included in the casts of the war film of The Patriot, portraying the role of William Martin. On the same year, he starred together with Mel Gibson in the romantic comedy film entitled, What Women Want. On the following year, Lerman appeared in the film of Riding in Cars with Boys as well in the 2004 film of The Butterfly Effect.

On the other hand, Lerman was included in the casts of the TV film of A Painted House, where he earned a Young Artist Award for the category of Best Performance by a Leading Young Actor in a Television production. In year 2004, he was also included in the casts of the TV series of Jake & Bobby, where he portrayed the lead role of Robert “Bobby” McCallister. He subsequently won another Young Artist for his acting performance. Lerman portrayed the role of Roy Eberhardt in the family comedy film of the Hoot, which also includes the stars of Brie Larson and Cody Liniey. The film garnered him his third Young Artist Award for the category of the Best Performance in a Feature Film- Leading Young Actor In year 2007.

On the same year, he appeared in the psychological thriller film of The Number 23, where he portrayed the role of Robin Sparrow. Also, in year 2007, he appeared in the film called, 3:10 to Yuma, wehre he portrayed the role of William Evans. The film earned him a nomination for the Young Artist Award for the Best Performance in a Feature Film – Leading Young Actor in year 2008.  He then starred together with Aaron Eckhart and Jessica Alba as well as Elizabeth Banks in the 2007 comedy film of Meet Bill.

Logan Lerman portrayed the lead role of Percy Jackson in the 2010 adventure film entitled, Percy Jackson & the Olympians. In addition, it was said that Lerman has already signed to star in the upcoming two more Percy Jackson films. On the same year, he appeared in Change the Odds, which is a public service announcement video for the charity of Stand Up to Cancer, which also includes the stars of Dakota Fanning and Zac Efron. On the other hand, Lerman is set to star in the film adaptation of the book of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. He is also set to appear in the independent film of The Only Living Boy in New York.
